Mandrel bent exhaust in So.Cal?

Hi Gang, I live close to Temecula and been trying to find a muffler shop that has a mandrel bender and does good quality work. Nobody locally has one. I'm willing to travel 50/75 miles to find such a place. Can anybody recomend a shop???

ThanX

Mandrel Benders

They cost in the area of $50k to $75k.....you're not going to find many muffler shop that can afford that! Best to find some prebent.
(been in the exhaust business for 40 some years, never could afford one)

So best thing to do is order a cat back exhaust system.. And have a shop install it such as Dyno Don. I replaced mine with the orignal stock performance cat back for a Iroc 5.7 and they have no crimps in the bend and all is 1 peice.

What size are you looking for? I have a mandrel bender, but only have dies up to 2.5" .... I should have them for 3" and 3.5" within the next month or so.

RU-QWIK:

O.K. don't laugh now....my motor is a 3.1 V6. I Believe that coming out of the manifolds (if I measured correctly) the inner diameter is 1 7/8. I have a Flowmaster "Y" collector with 2" primaries to 2.5 that I would like to use as the "Y" pipe. I also have a 2.5" high flow cat and Flowmaster muffler. So basically I need all the pipes fabricated; 1 7/8 primaries (2" if there is clearance) to the "Y" pipe and then 2.5" all the way back to the tail pipe. Is this something you think you could or would like to handle?

ThanX
