Parts compatibility question
Hey guys,
I have a 1984 TA with a carb'd 305. I am possibly buying a good running but wrecked(rear end collision) 1991 Formula one with a carb'd 350 for parts. I was wondering if the carpet, carb, dash, seats, A/C system, and smog pump are all compatible between the 2 years? After I remove those parts(pending they fit on mine) I will be parting out the car if anyone is interested.
Thanks!
-Brett

Re: Parts compatibility question
AC compressor and smog pump won't be unless you switch over the acccessory brackets at the same time. 1991 should have a serpentine belt drive and the 1984 should have individual brackets for each accessory. Carpet and interior pieces should swap without issues.

Re: Parts compatibility question
Wound up doing a transplant of the whole serpentine system. Went pretty smoothly.
