1988 IROC project for sale (Price drop)
I am almost giving it away!
I am posting this on here because I would prefer to sell localy.
Well I have been working on this project now for close to 2 years. Now that I finally obtained all the parts I find I don’t have the time or the patience to finish it. I am going to put this out there as a good deal if someone wants to finish it. If not I will have to decide if I need to find time to finish it so I can sell it or part it out. Either way I am not going to keep it.

It has an AZ Automasters built 700R4 transmission with about 20,000 miles on it
The engine has about 1000 miles on it and the rear end has about 500
The chassis has 150,000 miles on it.
The suspension has Spohn LCA’s and Spohn torque arm.
Front end has been rebuilt with all new parts including poly bushings and powder coated A arms.
Brakes are all new.
I have over $23,000 dollars worth of parts into this project not counting the initial car.
There is more than $10,000 just in the engine.
I am having trouble getting the AFR tuned correctly between 2500 and 3000 RPM’s for some reason. I bought the Megasquirt 2 to try and correct this but have never gotten it installed.
I spared no expense when I was putting this together.
I am willing to turn the project over to someone else for $12,000
I am sure I left a lot of stuff out.

Re: 1988 IROC project for sale (Price drop)
The transmision was built by a local performance shop. It is suppose to be able to handle 600-650 HP. It is probably the weakest link in the build.
The car is currently running on 730 code and in closed loop.
It runs OK except for the AFR flucuation between 2500 and 3000 RPM.
Pictures of the turbo kit can be found here.

I will snap some pictures of the car and post them up.
I have recieved some interest in buying the turbo kit already.

Sorry I will try and post the link again.

I have over $10,000 invested in the motor so I would need to get $6,000 out of it to consider selling it. I will probably drop it in my truck if no one buys the whole build.
I still need to pull the car out of the garage and dust it off a little for some pictures.
