Just took an 1100 mile road trip in my 89 Iroc. Everything worked great. The car is a 5.0 tpi with a 700r4 and 2.73 gears. The motor was built by me. It still has the original block and heads. I averaged about 24 miles per gallon. It was an awsome trip from PHX to OKC. Here are some pics:

love the ride, like mine cept in better shape and color!! I have the 5 ltr tbi version, same setup as you, made it to indiana from cali 3 times in 4 weeks, 2200 mi one way Was your hands all sore when you landed in ur destination?

Due to the hummer we'll be hitting the Gas stations alot but we're gonna do it the big boy style, hitting the occasional drag strip and we're all installing CB radios lil smokey and the bandit We're gonna be out there to have fun and don't care if we make ourselves look like fools in the process(even tho we will nearly the entire time since in our pack is a h1 hummer l0l)
