Money put in doesn't equal worth. The only 3rd gens worth what you are asking for are pristine, low mileage, original condition cars like the TTA and Firehawk.

WOW! Way to make yourself sound like an A**! Personally if I was in the market for another third gen I sure wouldn't buy from you seeing that you act like that over a little criticism. Says alot about who you are... !

Re: CUSTOM BIRD 4 SALE
For $20,000 the engine bay and paint needs to be very mint....not seeing that here...sorry Heck your missing the centercap on the front wheel.
BTW...put this on eBay and with a "buy it now" of $20,000...see what happens. There's a big difference between a "custom" and something someone threw together. Nothing personal.

Hey nothing taken personal at all. Wheel center cap is on just not in that pic, and paint under the hood is finished as well. As far as the "thrown together" remark, well, I guess everybody has thier own opinions. Fact of the matter is, thier is a whole lot of money and time in this car. If no one sees it I really don't care because I do. Is my price maybe a little high? Yeah i'm sure, but I built this car by myself. No help from anyone. Plus it is the 1st I ever built. Thanks for all the insight guys.

Re: CUSTOM BIRD 4 SALE
At first, I was gonna back this guy up and say that you guys needed to shut up if you werent interested in purchasing the car. But then I scrolled down and saw what the car looked like.
If you sell that car for $20k to anyone, let me know, and I will slap them across the face. I'm really not trying to be mean but dude, get real.

Re: CUSTOM BIRD 4 SALE
Something is only worth what another person is willing to pay for it. My RS for example: Engine $12,000+ Trans: $4,500 , engine management: $2,800, K-member, custom headers, exhaust, fuel pumps (2), etc $4,000... I have a lot sunk into the car and if I am lucky I could get 8 to 10k for it. (When it is all together again.) LOL.
I have built and sold a lot of custom cars over the years and have always regretted it. You never get out what you put in. Never look at your car as an investment, in which you will see a favorable return.

I hear you, and I've been there before! One of the things that will hurt you right now is the economy. It's a buyers market right now.

Re: CUSTOM BIRD 4 SALE
FWIW I invested over $20,000 in a 1988 S10 Blazer and only got $4,000 for it when I sold it. The current owner has been trying to get 8k for it the last three years. It was dropped, custom interior, wheels, paint, V8 engine ect..
It was highly detailed and looked factory new, I kick myself everytime I think about it.
If you really want to sell your car, you need to look and see what comparable vehicles are going for and set the price accordingly. It might be better to part it out if you have a lot of $$ in the drivetrain.

Re: CUSTOM BIRD 4 SALE
Dude, it is just way too funny to see what I thought would be a simple thread turn into. This has got to be one of the most epic for sale threads i've ever seen. And the most **** i've EVER gotten about my car, most people love my car.
