Question about wiring harness.
I've found on this board it's almost useless to post in the appropriate section and you local men seem pretty knowledgeable.
I'm trying to remove the wiring harness from the car. Behind the passenger fender, entering from the side and behind the firewall, is a plug. Anyone have any idea how to disconnect this damn thing? I fiddled with it for a good 30 minutes and couldn't get it disconnected.

A pic would be helpful, but it sounds like your ecm harness. If so, then it will be located behind your passenger side interior kick panel. You will also have to remove your passenger side fender liner. Dont know if this is right, but I can only think of one harness that is located in that area.

What he said. It's the only possible thing you could be talking about, and I believe the proper term is "bulkhead connector," but I haven't the slightest on how to get it off! Sorry. I'd imagine it has to be taken apart from both sides, they're usually held together by 2-4 bolts/screws.

Re: Question about wiring harness.
There is a bracket that slips over some tab from the inside behind the kick panel. Pull that straight up and off and there is a tab on the bottom to push up on. Push up on that and rock it out. Disconnect the ecm and the white connectors from under the dash you feed it thru. When you get it close to the top of the inner fender, you will need to twist and manuvour it to get it out.
