Overhead roof console....
It appears that my 86 Iroc came originally equipped with the overhead console but I cant find any info or pictures of it. When I got the car it had no headliner or dome light, It has some little pegs on the T-top bar. are these for the o/h console? Pics anyone? Info? Anybody got one for sale?

My advice is to purchase one complete. If you don't, you'll have a difficult time finding all the pieces.

Yea, sounds like an Overhead console to me. If it's for a T-Top like you say, I have one. I removed the plastic panel the pocket is on, and a new one can be gotten at www.moderndaymuscle.com, or you can do what a few people have done and just wrap some card stock in some nice leather and glue it in place (in a hot place like Az, the pocket sags, and looks tacky). I'll get it out and take some pics. I've got the full install kit. Bought the console from Thirdgen USA, and just never used it.

Re: Overhead roof console....
Let's see. I paid $90 plus shipping from Dave @ Thirdgen USA, and then ripped out the pocket. Pockets are $20 at ModernDayMuscle, or if you want I can get some plasticard from the hobby shop, wrap a nice grain black leather around it, and hot glue it in place. Some people hate the pocket, and I've found it's the cleanest looking way to "delete" it.
Also, it came with a working flashlight, and the flashlight I have in it now is, well. It's not in good condition. One of the tabs on it is almost broken, and the side of the case is warped, which prevents the batteries from making contact to light up the light unless it's squeezed. I was gonna try heating it with a hair drier and squeezing it back together, but now that I'm talking about selling it, I'm not too sure I wanna go that route. Considering the flashlights are the most expensive part, how about we say $60 + Shipping as is (I can deliver if you're willing to wait a week or two, I'll be heading up to Kingman, just have to take US60 outta Phoenix instead of the Carefree)
or $75 + shipping if I plasticard+leather where the pocket goes. Let me get some pics.

Re: Overhead roof console....
The tab on the right is the almost broken one.
It does work, it just needs a little persuasion.
At the top is the "warp" which I forgot is actually a crack.
See! Camaro!
Better picture of the crack.
See where the pocket went in the middle? It didn't look good. It was hand sewn back together, with orange thread.
Includes all wiring!
And all bulbs!
This is the only flaw in the overhead console. One small crack.
More pics incoming.

They all still work!
Unmolested dome light cover! Hard find for these.
More bulbs!
Flashlight in it's little cubby.
Also included are the screws and wiring harness if someone had cut yours out, or something.
And yes, the bathroom is the cleanest place in my apartment. >.>

I'd take $50 as is. Lens? The pocket is the only thing missing, and it's on ModernDayMuscle.

Re: Overhead roof console....
I thought long and hard about what I wanted to do. I could clean the center of my room, and take an hour (or more) to get him his pictures, or I could take the pics in the bathroom. :P
My camera yelled at me. It told me to change the *%&#ing batteries already.
And I like knowing what I'm getting, so I like to extend that to the person purchasing from me. How's Hawaii?
Oh! And the crack is by the little rollers on one side. I didn't notice it until I was holding it up like it'd go in a car. Very small. Might even be able to super glue it. Although I'll leave that up to you, 'cause I don't wanna ruin it.
