Found! Albuquerque NM stolen 15th anniv.

A few days ago one of the local car club members purchased a 15th anniversary Trans Am and woke up this morning to find the car missing from his residence (an apt. complex). There was no broken glass where the car had been parked. If those in the area could please keep an eye out for the car, or what may be it if someone could be parting it out, it would be appreciated. The car has major rear passenger quarter panel damage (car hit a pole in a snowstorm last winter) and front driver fender damage.

Thank you very much for any help!!!

Please, anyone with a pre-vats Camaro or Firebird needs to discourage thieves, get something like this, they'll go somewhere else for joyriding. Removable stereo faceplates also reduce the temptation to bust inside, unless there's a sack of money or CDs laying around. We all know how insecure these cars are in stock form...

"Unlike steering wheels that can be cut to get around an anti-theft device, your pedals are virtually unbreakable. Pedal Jack takes advantage of this fact to secure your car."

25106 Pedal Jack for Automatic Transmission $34.95
25105 Pedal Jack for Manual Transmission $39.95

Dang, that sucks. I live in Santa Fe and will be keeping an eye out for her. I always notice every third gem. Give me a buzz on PM and I would like to join your club.

Sorry to hear. I had multiple attempts made on my 86 and 87 when I lived in Abq 97-04. I guess I protected them well enough or I was just lucky. But after having to recharge a battery (they left the door open after giving up) and rebuilding steering columns, I know all too well what probably went on with that car.

Good news... the car was recovered today! It was found parked on the street in front of some businesses. Though the t-tops got stolen, it could have been much much worse!!

Good news to hear Kristin!
I am always on the lookout for 15th and 20th Anniversary parts, and if I know any cars that are missing, I send out emails to the owner as to who is selling what.
Did you and your friend get the package yet?

Have a good week,

George
