If not no hard feelings, just trying to get something together for this fall, you know something to look forward to.

I'm a member here, more of a frequent reader than a actual participent in posts. I used to have 3 firebirds, my favorite being my 85 350TPi, that's right I swapped a 350 block into my Trans Am. Boy did that thing haul-***! T-tops and all, and my favorite color black with black crosslace 16" crosslaces and fat 245 tires with cannons.....goddamm do I miss that car. Nothing sounds better than the TPI engines. The LT1 is a close 2nd.

Back to subject....nothing is set in stone, but probably a November-December time is best for both car groups. Usually we have 10-15 cars show up but we've been getting more serious members.

Would you guys be intersted? Who is the fastest member here? Our fastest is Rhett and his GTP does a 12.6 with a 50shot of N20. Most of us in are in the low 14's and some of us are in the mid 13's.

The fastest around here is probably Mark (OMINIOUS_87). He is running mid 12's with no spray with his 87 Formula.

I would probably come with my 16 second lead sled camaro.

I'm gonna contest that statement I ran a 7.70@91 1/8mile at TUCSON altitude (which is well known for being a half second slower than phoenix) which converts to 12.0 in the 1/4....and that was BEFORE the nitrous

On another note.......got my nitrous system all ready tonight, just need another safety burst disc for my nitrous bottle then I'll get it filled and go hunting for some 10 second 1/4 mile times!! :lala:

btw bill you are forgetting about Tim and Willie down here in Tucson. With Willie's mega-$$ twin intercooled super charger I'm sure he's deep into the 11's by now. Tim, well I do'nt know what he's up to, but I'm sure its fast too. hah.

I'd show! If we were running stock-vs.-stock (unless they are ALL GTP's) I might have a chance. I have one of the fastest stock 305TBI's I've seen here...If not, I'd show for moral support

he ran a 12 somethin in the 120's with no traction. he's gotta 406 built w/ a 200 shot. now that he has his suspension and extra fuel pump for the n20 he should be in the 10's.

baah. nobody can claim to be THE fastest in the southwest, there is too many cars and too many projects going. If we went by what we "should be with n20" then I'd be bench racing myself to 10's on a 150 shot

Wah wah. I told him I'm not running again anytime soon. I think I messed up my O2 sensor on the last run, it's not reading full scale anymore. I beat him twice, a minimum of 4 cars by 80 mph, fairly.

Tell him to get a new target for Christ's sake. It's getting old racing Mike every week. Let him race Chris on slicks. It's not like I have thirdgens lying around like you guys. :P

i have to much fun with the nos on my way to your hause to race and i didn't notice that i was all out tell i leaft old vail, this is the first time that i ever used nitrous and the bottle was not full to begain with but i only got one good run out of that thing before it was empty oh well. I am going to fill it up sometime this week and we shall race again. you will go do this time. I am willing to put money on it $$$$

This is funny. You two remind me of Vadim and I back in the day when we both started modding our firebirds. I had a 350TBI with a peanut cam and he had an LG4 305 with a cam and he kicked my ***, then I got vortec heads first, then whooped his ***, then he got vortecs and gutted his car, and we were even. Then he parked his **** for like a year and built a motor for it while I drove on my vortec motor for a long *** time, then his new motor was done and I decided to build a motor, ect...ect..ect.... Ahh the joy of grudge matches between friends

yea but only two of those runs where when i was sapose to be on teh bottle and all the other times it was because you needed it because you would have gotten your *** handed to you if other wise.
