brand new heater core is only 20-25 bucks from rock auto, + shipping whatever that is.

more of a PITA to replace, that i would'nt chance getting one from a junkyard.

i can't see why aluminum would be junk? people use aluminum radiators all the time.
if you still have your brass one, and want to stay brass, you could have it repaired at a radiator shop. if you go on facebook, theres a group, "tampa bay's racing junk". look for a guy named jared convetero, (sorry, dont know the exact spelling of his last name), he ALWAYS has 3rdgens being parted out.

Re: Official Tampa, FL Area Thread
I am hoping to schedule a meet sometime in August. Who is down for that? I need locations of those who WILL actually attend so I can choose a middle area for us to meet. Also, spread the word. It has been a few years since we had a Florida meet and I'm looking forward to it.

I would be down for August, Personally do not mind the drive to Tampa area (~ hour half drive) though would not complain if closer inland.
Also the clunker in question, 83' z28

Matt, you recently bought a third gen again and neglected to post details or pictures? Don't make us wait for a meet to get to see it!

I'm not looking to do another FT. De Soto meet, just go to a restaurant and meet up. It has been a few years since we had a meet and I'm looking forward to it.
