Tried texting you a picture of it but not going through for some reason. I attached a pic of what I have. That rear would be nice.

Re: Official Tampa, FL Area Thread
I can't tell you guys how many times I have changed the ICM in my car. The one in there has lasted at least 8 years now. The issue I'm having doesn't seem to be that though. Seems like I need a basic tune up of plugs and wires. Don't remember the last time I changed them as I hoped to have done a motor swap by now.
Anyone want to go to Atlanta this year?? I'm going.

Re: Official Tampa, FL Area Thread
Sorry took me so long to upload these. But car is still here at the house so if anyone is interested please let me know. Can't stay here to much longer. Things I can tell you about it. 5.0 carbed with Edelbrock carb and and aftermarket distributor. Manual trans with fairly new slave and master cylinders. I start it every other day. Starter maybe 1 year old, and battery maybe 5 mo old. 120 mph speedometer. Has alot of the original options. But as you can tell the car is pretty beat up. Mainly previous owner, once i got the car I kept it running and fixed things as I went, till the accident. So if interested shoot me an Offer. I dont know what to ask for other than what you see car is pretty solid. Thanks
The shirt isn't there anymore.
The rear of the hood has been set flush now.
Again the rear of the hood has been set flush
Don't mind my son chilling in the corner lol.
Front end damage, headlights still light up just and you can here the motors move but the brackets are broken and won't come up.

Pretty sure my car would make the trip to Atlanta. Few things I gotta take care of before I do anything long distance though.
That camaro looks good in there!

Re: Official Tampa, FL Area Thread
You won't regret going to this car show as long as you make it there without anything catastrophic happening. It's a blast and it lasts all weekend. The hotel parking lot is the car show so you don't have to go anywhere especially if you plan on drinking which they allow all over the hotel grounds. It's one big party.
I have also been debating whether I want to tow my car up there or drive it up there. A good thing about towing it is I don't have to worry about my Bird breaking down(I'm confident it would make it) but I wouldn't want to be broke down on the side of the highway with my wife and daughter. Another plus is if someone else breaks down my car can be taken down and someone else can be put on the trailer. Like a support vehicle.

Well guys. Think I'm gonna put my Thirdgen passion to rest finally. Been going back and forth with my car and have come to the conclusion that it's time to let it go. Really want to get into something else. After I get a few things buttoned up I'm gonna put it up for sale.

I won't even drive to Georgia to visit my folks, soo...
I guess you can count me out of that one.
But, the old rattlebox is holding together just fine, so if you guys are doing something local, please PM me, I have a bad habit of not keeping up with the board lately, and at least the PM will send a notice to my email.

Re: Official Tampa, FL Area Thread
Well finally got my car listed. Some interest but nothing solid. Looking to get into something like a jeep or SUV. Something I can take off-road if I wanted.

Re: Official Tampa, FL Area Thread
I'm not baller enough for all that.
Finally took the car off of the road. Saving a whopping $60 on my insurance. Looking at a TPIS Mini Ram for sale, and probably settling on a set of Jegs heads. Will has kinda talked me into the idea of a turbo, but that might come later on. I wanna get the car back into running shape first.

There is quite a bit of interest for the gathering here in the Tampa area. This may turn into a big show this year. Anyone care to register under F-Body Inc? I know FLCFA is going as well.

Might be taking a trip this weekend to pickup some C6 Z06 wheels. Loneroad, how big of a hammer did you need to fit 325s? Stock rear size on the Z06 wheels are 325/30/19.

Re: Official Tampa, FL Area Thread
I have 15x10in wheels with 6.5 bs. The street tires are 295's. that was just grinding off the bump stops.
The 325's took a lot more work. Cutting out sections and welding in new metal. And some offset control arm bushings.

Re: Official Tampa, FL Area Thread
Good news kinda, the wheels are base C6. So they are 19x10. But I found out my rear is at an angle so now I need more adjustable parts. The cycle continues. Oh, don't let me forget to get up with you with the money from Will for those parts.

Re: Official Tampa, FL Area Thread
Here's some crappy garage photos from last night when I put the C6 wheels on. Needs a 1/2" spacer in the rear and its good. I also found out my rear is out of wack, so I need adjustable LCAs now and also that the hub on my rear axles is like 5mm larger than every Chevy wheel I've tried to put on it. So I'm probably gonna hunt down a 02 SS rear now.
