Bro just it easy do 3-4 hour runs then let the car sit for a half hour.(you fquick shows that cars mint with a 20k old crate engine youll be fine)...just dont push it too hard tho...and when you get to nc let me know well checkout the cars and drive down together...im trying to get in with a bunch of locals that ar driving down together...

It's not 20k original miles. It had 134k miles on it and the previous owner had it rebuilt by Jaspers and that was 20k miles ago. And in all honesty it's not close to mint lol >.> Needs a repaint and some body and interior work. My photos give it more justice than it acturally has. Gonna be working on it till my trip hopefully will be all good and done, but i'm taking the trip either way, finished or not - just hope my audio is complete tho i need music l0l or least have my GmmG installed ( hope to be 1 of my first mods, almost got enough $ for it)

I'm stopping by Kentucky for a few days before i hit the carolinas to hang w/ a friend he's got 4 camaros he's bringing gonna get friends to drive them down, he's got a 99 v6, 88 305 iroc, 97 z28 drag car (Runs 9.1), and then he's buying a 00 z28 w/ ls1 sometime this month.

I got my motor for my car yesterday, and hopefully i can get it apart, cleaned and in the car for this week. All else fails, i'l be in the W-body grand prix. I'm just hoping i can get this thing at least rolling by then. It'll be in progress stage when i get there. no carpet, and two seats and a console

I've been to 3 out of the 4 years we've had it. Before there has usually been between 50-100 cars. But this year should be bigger.

So far this year we have about 130 cars registered and should have more coming by the time of the show.

i was there for a little bit with my car club. we didnt park or show we just parked off behind the show by the apple bees. honestly i was not that impressed. there were nice cars there just not very many of them. I did see a blue and silver like 88 z28 with a high rise spoiler and an ls1. i stood around his car for a while i thought iv seen him on here before but he never came around. i would have loved to ask him some questions about the build. the car was still being worked on u could tell but it was gorgeous.

yeah ive never been to the one at the beach.......but from what i have seen not that many show up. If only the same amount that shows up for the F-body gathering they have in GA....then the beach would be ****! Ive crashed the Mustang week show they have down there....and I'll tell ya what!.....they might as well call it Fox body beach instead of myrtle....LOL I went to their show and parked right in the same parking lot. it was funny as hell!

I wasnt too impresssed either, considering they had like 140 registered, but either way, it was a nice show. I drove 2 hours to see like 5 3rd gens, but its all good. I took pictures of pretty much every car there at 11:30 then spent the rest of the day up at Broadway at the Beach. I'll post pictures later this week.
There was the Turbo TA, Yellow Firebird, Blue iroc with smooth handles and hi-rise spoiler, black z28 and the midnight blue, black eyed z28

Hi bigred75, you've saw me here, and thanks for the compliment. I don't hardly think it's gorgeous, yet, anyway HA HA. Paint coming soon. Sorry you missed us. The wife and I walked over to Backyard Bar & Grill for lunch, The food was good but the service sucked. We were there for almost 1 1/2 hrs. We didn,t complain though, nice cool air LOL. We saw the cars and wondered why they were parked back there and not at the show. I talked to a lot of cool people, sorry again that we missed ya. The fun was not at the show though, it was at the speedway!!! All I can say is had a blast. They had an autocross course set up. They also let us do laps, much, much, much fun. They had tires set up to keep us off of the high part of the banks an at the end end of the back stretch they had kind of a S to slow you down but the front stretch was WFO. Did I say it was fun! I would come off of the fourth turn, tires smoking, I was turning 6500 rpm's when I let off to go into the second turn. The guys said that the motor was singing coming down through there. Did I say I had fun. After that they had the timed autocross event. The course was really tight and I didn't compete. Then they had the street style drags. We started on the bank of the fourth turn and ran to the flag stand(middle of the front stretch) Bruce Hawkins from Hawks Third Gen won(the yellow 'Bird) I may could have had a chance but traction was non existant for me. I know , excuses HA HA. Wait till next year. Too many fourth gens. I'm calling my fellow third geners out for next year, and lets make this bigger than horse week. F-Bodys rulze. I know Later, Dean. I almost forgot the best part, I won a throphy for best exhaust. And thanks to all of the sponsors and those who participated.

Stainlessworks/Hawks headers into a custom merge 3" Y pipe into 3" to a Magnaflow crossflow muffler then to a custom center outlet exhaust. All of the system is fully stainless. The tips are Magnaflow replacements for a fourth gen Camaro. I did all of the work so that made throphy that much more satisfying. And it does sound way sweet at 6500. Dean

We got third in the show in the wild 93-02 class.

Nuf, thanks for the compliment. It's way over due for some new paint(22yrs). It's getting painted this winter, Yeah. I liked the tag on the SS, and congrats to the wife on the throphy. Did you see the stripe I got at the speedway friday? I went into the first turn a little hot and hit a tire. I had a ball though. Glad it dosen't have the new paint yet!! If the good Lord allows, I'll definitely be back next year. And any of you that didn't go to the track, Y'all missed a lot of fun. Later, Dean
