Re: Cruising The Coast 2009
thanx for the invite
My TA used to be entered for 4 years,
then it wasn't old enough, it was old enough 4 years prior to that
Now it is 25 years old and that is not old enough still....
No bitterness there
I still have gone and dealt with the traffic (more stop than go)
At least one of the members of our club, out of New Orleans, gets a room somewhere near the colliseum.
Our club at
http://www.gsfcc.com
Is 4th gen heavy! a few first, second and 2 or 3 third gens.
If I go this year it will be the last time in the 84, before the donor frame is ready for major part swapping from the 84, I will make it a point to stop by.

well yall are welcome to come by, bring some meat and we will fire up the grill
you should be able to find us, we will have a big american flag on the flag pole and our club banner acroos the yardarm, there is also a little fence infront of the property and their may be little signs point to it 1/4 before (like the "vote for me" size signs)

Are you guys going to be hanging out all through the day on those days or just in the evenings? I'm only going to work a day and a half that week; so, I'll be around all hours of the day.

Re: Cruising The Coast 2009
I actually was not planning to go - no incentive
But now I am trying to get the 84 T/A ready
she needs a bit of repair. Not as good as she used to be, but not that bad either.
Could always drive the 93 T/A if I have to.
Put the eibachs on it today, it looks better.
No one from our club in new orleans is staying out there this year.
I would be there probably friday and Saturday - only 'bout hour and a half drive.
Coming up with options, nothing in cement yet.

Re: Cruising The Coast 2009
When I stop by, it will be in my 4th gen T/A.
Just got done putting my 3rd gen back together and new problems have popped up!
I am frustrated with the car, I don't work on a car when I am frustrated, it usually costs me more money in the long run.
Anyway I will be out there on friday and saturday, see you then!

Re: Cruising The Coast 2009
sorry I couldn't make it!
Had to work Saturday - did not get out until 1:30
Sky was black/grey with rain in Hammond,LA
Toss in only 3 hrs sleep the night prior.....
Good news is that my '84 is now eligible to be an entrant again!
Request for vacation time from work, should be there for 2010.
Glad to hear you all had a good turn out.
