Re: The Original Gulf Coast Third Gens
hi all new member here, after tinkering with mopars and fords for the last
few years i have come home back to camaros.
i have purchased a 1984 camaro z28 for my son and i to restore.
i am disabled and really am struggling on this build.
it has a hole in the passenger side freezeplug under the motormount
and the passenger side floor under the passenger seat is rotted out.
does any of you fellas know how to get to the freezeplug?
its under the engine mount and i can see the coolant coming out of
it.
i ask because my oldest son works as a guard at the area prison
here and they have a automobile tech program and our car has been
selected to be a project i jsut have to supply the parts and materials.
please don't take this as a handout or beg, just some friendly advice and
some neighborly help.
i am in lucedale,ms. is there anyone here from lucedale?

I'm in Panama City FL... have some family in Fairhope area and will be up there for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately I can't convince my wife and kids to cram in the Iroc for the drive over. I'm ready to take a trip in it soon to see how it does!

Re: The Original Gulf Coast Third Gens
If anyone is interested in a 100% complete Holley Stealth Ram setup, let me know. I am looking to go carb to release 100% potential from my 383.
I have other parts too.
-Cale 251-209-1518
I also have a chip burner and can burn you chips for a minimal fee.

Re: The Original Gulf Coast Third Gens
Hi all south easterners.
I'm fairly new to TGO.
I am in Baton Rouge LA.
Bought an 84 project car.
Slow partial restore ongoing.
Originally from Scotland UK. Been here 9 years.
Been wanting one of these cars since I was 15 and saw Knight Rider on tv.
I am now 41 and my dream is so close.
Would like to hear from or talk to some local folks on here or wherever.
All the best.

Re: The Original Gulf Coast Third Gens
I'm sorry if I sounded like I had a KITT replica going on.
In fact I do not. And do not ever want to do that.
IMO there was only 1 KITT and replicas are nice for what they are but not for me anyways. Way too much money goes into them.
I have just an 84 trans am black and gold. with gold striping.
I bought it damaged and not running right.
Turns out a little more than planned on the work but projects are projects right. You never know what to expect.
I'll go sign up on the website that was sent to my PM.
Looking forward to seeing another 3rd gen dedicated site.
