i would love to see that car in person. no time for anything though. anyone want a speaker box? $20 bucks, sits on the ledges in the well. 2-12's will fit in it. i am going to be moving sometime in the next few months i hope and i need to get rid of it.

I skipped the TRR and the auto show this year. I hit the gun show on Sunday... nothing too spectacular there. I was hoping to find a deal on a Springfield XD .45

Re: Volusia County Florida!
I'd suspect the master cylinder if there's no leaks and the pedal goes down easy. That's what the '84 has been doing lately. Is this happening on the 'bird? I think that may still be the original master on there, it was never replaced during our ownership of it.

Re: Volusia County Florida!
Well, we took a trip over to St. Augustine today, and I noticed low oil pressure about half-way there. I pull over and check the oil, and it's below the "add" mark. I add about a quart of oil and keep going, monitoring the oil pressure the whole way.
When I get home, I decide to wash the car. I get it about as clean as I can get it and go for a drive. While I'm out, I looked down, and the oil pressure gauge is showing low pressure again, so I decided to come home and call it a night.
As I'm pulling into my driveway, I see it drop to 0 pressure. I kill the engine and drop the car into neutral and roll back into the street. I check the oil again, and I'm fine. I'm hoping the oil pickup just needs to be "adjusted." I've heard they have a habit of slipping. I'm just hoping there's no damage done, and that I didn't kill my oil pump today.

Re: Volusia County Florida!
I've been alright. Working a lot more, now that they've furloughed nearly 30 guys in our subdivision of the railroad. Think I netted 85 hours one week. I finally got the seq. turn signals installed on the T/A, still waiting for more money so I can get that fender and bumper taken care of, but I think tires will be coming soon; those Kumho's are nearly 8 years old!

I hear ya man, it's had that same stigma probably long before we ever owned it. That's kinda why we gave it the name "Dread 107" while we owned it. But, you could look at it this way, too--maybe that car's been some protection to you. You could have been in some cheezy little box on a rollerskate (<cough>!import!<cough>) that could have been tossed across the road by the impact, then hit by a semi, and really been hurt bad. Looks like the old 'bird took it in stride, like always. I just can't understand why that car was always an idiot magnet, though. I've got a ton of stories I could tell you about our adventures we had. Sorry to see you having such a lousy time with it though, I know you've put a lot of effort into what's done so far.

you locate that new q/p yet man?
I'll be in your guys neighborhood this sat. for the swapmeet at the speedway.
If anyone needs something,pm me and I'll see if I have it.
Hope you can make it lotus,I'd like to see that crunched bird in person.
I think it'd be easier to pull it out than cut the whole thing off and replace it.

Re: Volusia County Florida!
3rd robbing that has happend in daytona in the past day WTF. it was pretty odd i got to work at 9:30 and had a ton of orders todo then at like 10:30 people came flooding in wanting food we were slamed with business there was even a cop sitting there at 11:00 eating. he leaves then about 30min after that more cops came in wanting drinks and asking me if i had seen two black males in a dark car come in. i said no why? and he said "a armed robbery just happend next door" then news crews cameras and cops where all in the front parking lot for about an hour. i belive they only got $300 in cash and a few systems. hope they try to pawn them.
