Re: any mississippi peeps
I`m good with whatever time and or day.Already been on vacation so not planning on going out of town for anything other than work.Sundays would be good, but I can do saturdays with enough notice.
I would like to attend, but most likely it will be WITHOUT my Trans Am.... its been at the shop for 3 months now. After this work is done It has to go to transmission rebuild. Does anyone around here ( jackson area) have a good 700r4 ? maybe my restoration will be done by next summer.... MAyBe...
COME ON SMASH.I know how you feel.Mine was down for a year or more at one time, getting everything together.

Your club sounds pretty cool. I just bought a 1990 GTA a couple of months ago and may be interested in something like this if I can find the time. I noticed there weren't any TA's in any of the pics. Maybe I could fix that situation. LOL

Hi guys,
I'm in Pearl. Just got the car back going a month or so ago after a 3 year wait. I would be very interested in meeting up some of you guys.
My ride still needs a paint job but but it fits in in Pearl just like it is.

close to columbus ms. i'm running a crane at the severcorr plant in columbus. have lived all over this country at some time or another but i think i'm gonna call mississippi home. not a whole lot to do in this area so maybe i will be able to get started on my car as soon as i get over the financial shock of moving from 2 different states to here. (house in florida and apt in alabama)

Umm,why call mississippi home?I`ve lived here all my life.Your right, theres not much to do around here. The jackson and coast area are getting better.Oh,you must have met a woman. It`s not that bad a place I guess. It`s cheaper to live here than most any where. The house I bought would have cost millions in a lot of other places.

Re: any mississippi peeps
the company i work for is based here and its just easier for me to be close to office. and besides that, when you've lived in as many different places as i have, mississippi aint so bad (especially in this day and time) in the past year i have been in las vegas, south carolina, virginia, salt lake city, spokane,el paso, and all over florida. all those places have been with different companies. they all pay extremely well but this company takes better care of their people plus pay well. plus all that traveling dont make for a very good family life. now i'm with my kid every day and get to watch football practice and all that stuff. this company will still keep me traveling alot but they fly me home or family to me every few weeks.

Hey guys, I just moved down here a couple of months ago. I'm on the coast and would love to meet up with some cars guys. Its pretty much none existent from what I can gather. Other than CTC, it looks like nobody has any cruise in's or hangouts to shoot the bull and look at cars.
Don't have the TTA anymore, just the goat. I won't be cruising next week but plan on watching the cars go by.

Shady, I am the guy you were thinking about in Robinhood... I moved from there and now live in FLORENCE/RICHLAND My car is still in Brandon though.... still being worked on. Right now they are doing a Trans swap and repairing wiring issues on my 88 GTA. hopefully soon I can get it back and head to the body work.
I have a 1986 TRANS AM here... I was thinking about parting it out, but decided against it because ITs a good car, just dosent have an engine and Trans. If anyone around here wants it I will take $800 or a set of nice BLACK leather 4th gen seats in trade... also looking for a set of rear glass louvers if anyone local has a set.\

Re: any mississippi peeps
I`m game.My house is in warren county but I`ve been staying at my dads in brandon cause I got a job over here for now.My car is down for a few more days is all I hope.I had to send my prom off to have some adjustments done.Too much timing was causing some knock counts and retard.Took my heater core out so when I get paid I can replace it.while it was down,so soon as I get my chip back I`ll be ready.
Getting together with some fellow third genners is something I`ve been wanting to do.Could`nt go to CTC due to a lack of funds.
MikeMassey you have an email.

If you still run the "165 ecm I can help. I havn't worked with the '730 ecm.
I started messing with that other site a few weeks ago while I was at work, as you can see I havn't gotten very much done there. I havn't even had time to load any pictures of my car yet.

My IROC has some brake issues and is waiting on the 4th gen brake upgrade kit to arrive, but I can ease her around to a meet whenever.

I saw one across from Mc B's for sale the last time I was over that way. Looked like they had put some time and money in it but those big wheels would have to go. Poor car had more ground clearance than my Blazer
Not too sure about the colors, top half was black and the bottom half was tan I think.

I pulled it from my sig because I received an email from MSN saying that they were shutting down the groups after the first of the year and I didn't see any reason to try to built something that would end in a couple months. I do have plans to start another site but I havn't had time to do research.
I'm off the next 2 days, if you guys are gonna meet up let me know and I'll try to come.
