Hey I'm a newb!!!
Hey guys I'm on some other forums and recently just got a camaro. I have mainly been into imports so this is my first muscle car. I love it. I have already done a lot to it since I got it last week. Everyone say hello to Betty. 1987 Chevrolet Camaro - Jeanna's Chevrolet "Betty"
I look forward to meeting some of you at the local meets.

That makes me sad.
Had to chick-ify it
The leopard pattern side? And the flames for the gauges? I'm sorry. That's just overwhelming for I.
And, I don't like any other rims other then like silver, or something. Only on few occasions do cars pull off the good look with the rims painted. Mostly imports, though. Pretty slick car. Have fun with it. :P
(P.S. If it's raining, be extra cautious)

Seriously though, have fun with it, and don't listen to us.

excellent! an 87' sportcoupe even! what's done to the engine? i'm a big fan of sportcoupes...and seeing a girl involved with the thirdgen guys is just too cool.
might i suggest polishing the lips of the wheels up so they look kinda like the front wheels on my car in this pic...it took a little while but so worth it! you can see yourself in the lips!

Why thanks. I painted them with high temp black engine paint. 3-4 light coats is best. Good luck.

Welcome to the group!
YAY I'm not the newb around here anymore! lol
I bought my '87 IROC-Z just over a week ago, and I think I'm hooked for life now. heh.
I'm Columbia and make it down to Myrtle from time to time. We try to have a monthly 3rd Gen meet here and have people from MB, Sumter, and all over SC come. Hope you can make the Sept. cruise-in. You'll see the topic about it!
The Camaro is lookin good too, keep it up! Check out mine if you'd like.

Thanks again to everyone for the warm welcomes. Somehow my thread got revived lol.
The lights were easy. I just looked on google for a good chevy emblem to use and printed it out. Then I cut it out and traced it onto contact paper. I then used scissors or you can use and exacto knife and cut out the emblem. I taped off around my light since mine are a pain to get off. But if you can get yours off easily it would be better to remove them. I then centered up the "decal" I made with the contact paper and painted 2 light coats. Let it dry and peeled off the contact paper. I used a flat black paint but you could use gloss or maybe even another color that might match your car would look cool.
Yeah I went to the columbia meet at the flying saucer a few weeks ago. I just happened to be goin that way that weekend. It was fun but I couldnt stay long. I think I might have met you but I dont remember everyones names. I hope to get to more of the meets. Thanks again everyone.
