Cool!!! We are gonna go but I'm not gonna take my car down the track. i just got it fixed yesterday and I'm still leary about running the tranny to hard. How many of you are going? And is anyone gonna meet before they go. Never been there so it would be kinda cool to go with some other people.

what is it
Im kind of new to this, I just got my 91 Z28 a few weeks ago. Can you tell me what activities are involved in this. I assume by test and tune you run a 1/4mile, then make some modifications, then run again and see the effects of the mods. What is the cost, how many runs can you get, do race against other cars, etc?
OK I see it cost 10 bucks, is that it?

Yeah, bring your car. If you decided not to, you dont have to race it. I wanna see if the mods to my car did anything. I have the same tranny in my car as you do now iroc28chick, its held up pretty well. Its got over 212,000 miles on it and it doesnt slip. You can decided when you get there. Give me a call tomorrow if ya wanna meet. Im not too familar with the baton rouge area, but i have a friend that used to live there thats comming. Hope to see ya'll there!

OK I'll bring my car. If I decide to race it I don't know if I'll be the one driving it. I might let Matt take it down the track(never done it before). Anyways, what time do you want me to call you? We can decide where to meet when I call you.

So did any of you guys show up? I was there, but not in my car. I remember seeing a black RS, black Irock, white Formula, a red Iroc and bad *** pro street looking red TA. Some of my friends and fellow employess were there: a red 99 Camaro(my boss and owner of Thunder Racing 11.25), red 99 TA(11.95), red 95 Formula(11.33), pewter TA (12.3), silver 00 SS(broke), just to name a few.

Yeah, it was a lot of fun. You should have come and talked to us. Hehe, we dont bite. I had a good time, but thought I should have seen some sorta improvement for all the mods ive done, back in 98 I ran stock and pulled off a 16.863 at 80.84, My best time at no problem was 16.833 at 79.27mph, so i was kinda bummed. Oh, Irocz28chic, when me and michael were headed home, that fiero and the real Z06 passed us up , FLYING, well over 100, we get down into Kenner and the cops had the real Z06 pulled over and that blue vette yall like, it was further up the road pulled over, hehe. Oh and remember when they gave us those tech sheets, they also gave us the schedule for 2002, So if i ever get a day with little homework, ill try and make it back out there

I didn't get a schedule. I want one too. All we got to see on the way home were some of the Mustangs that were there. One was a GT and it wanted no part of me. Must be the power people think I have. I just wish I really had the power.
