Best crate engine/mail order companies

I have searched the boards for people's opinions on different companies that build crate motors. I do not have the time or the shop to build a motor myself. I live in the Austin TX area but would be more than willing to have one shipped to me. I am looking for something like a 350ci/320-350HP motor w/4 bolt mains and iron or aluminum heads. I have a stock TPI system and I am already aware I would need to upgrade it some, port it, and upgrade my ignition system. I will appreciate any info and opinions anyone can give. Thanks

Try www.goautocenter.com.
They sell new GM crate motors as well as custom versions of same. Check out their 300hp TPI crate motor. Best of all, they're in Dallas. I've been to their shop - sweet.

Your best bet is to try scoggins dickey for an engine. They are located in lubbock texas and have many combinations of engines to fit your requirements and fit your (?) price range whatever it may be. Some good things are they are close (less shipping) and they warrenty theyr engines.

I used Sallee Chevrolet. They are out of Washington or Oregon or somewhere up there. Bought a Ram Jet 350 crate motor from them. For some reason, there was a $100 "Diagnostic Trouble Code Tool" that they mistakenly left out. I called them and told them about it, and they are sending me one right now...no questions asked. (I should hope so after buying a $4500 crate motor from them). There is a guy named Tom in the tech department that has been pretty helpful.
