Damn. That's the weekend I'm moving FROM Waco to College Station for the fall semester. I don't have a 1LE, but maybe I can make it.

My wife and I will be there for the autocross. If B4C's are welcome at the car show, we will be at that too.

Not that I am the "decision maker" or anything, but as far as I am concerned any nice GM car that wants to show is welcome to.

Here is the info:
First I'd like to say that this meet will be open to any car you or your friends would like to bring. The 1LE/B4C cars
I would like grouped together during the car show,however.......

As for lodging,I have chosen the Best Western at I35 and 4th Streets:
http://www.hotels-rates.com/hotels_...ns/property/730
It is right next to Baylor, shopping, resturants, and several parks, one of which we will have our car show at.

The AutoX will be held at Texas State Technical College, which is about 9 miles from the hotel.
TSTC
3801 Campus Drive
Waco,Texas,76705

The itinerary:

I was just up in Mineral Wells for the Solo II event and one of your guys invited me to attend your 1LE gathering. Now, I can't even remember his name. He had a white 91 or 92 Z and said he has 2 1LEs. One thing that was brought up in the drivers meeting is to check in the middle of the week of the event with TSTC or on the texasregion website to make sure the auto-x will still be held. There's a possibility that President Bush will be landing there, and in that case the auto-x will be canceled.

I'll let you know if Bush will be landing. In case I forget, you can check on

If the auto-x gets cancelled, they said they will post it on the website that week and to check it that Tues or Wed. It's not likely to be cancelled though just something to watch out for. I finished last in SM, because my car was running on 7 cylinders but it was still a blast. I don't know if I'll be able to make the gathering. At the auto-x, see if you can find the guys from L&B performance. They are a couple of great guys from a performance shop in Waco. Gary is the owner and will probably be running his red third gen Firebird. He just got it running with a carbed LT1. Allen has a black thirdgen camaro, but probably won't be running it since he lost 4th gear and probably won't fix it until he puts in his LS1 and T56 which is still a little ways off. If I'm in College Station, I'll probably just go to the A auto-x.
