Hay hay hay fellow thirdgenners! HUGE West Houston Muscle meet going on Jan 14th! The Last Blast to the Past meet saw over 700 cars!!! Everything from one of a kind hot rods to dragsters to a even a Few exotics! Last time only saw two thirdgens though, so why don't we represent this time around eh? Ah. Yah. But man, I've never seen so many cars. Like I said, over 700 cars last time, and that was their first big show. I imagine that with the word out, and some cooler weather, we could easely see over 900 cars there. Mind you about 100 of those will be 5thgen camaros, but that's still over 800 cars.

a bad **** GTO. Super guy, well organized and a real gear head. I would have
to say though that the majority of the regulars are about my age 'old enough
to have kids Sean's age'. Like last time i am sure there will still be some cars
there 'after'. Last time it was later in the evening and it was packed till 10pm.
It was summer then. If your planning on taking your car, get there early as it
get's crowded real fast. Keep in mind guys, your car doesn't have to be a show
car. This is a car 'meet'.

As expected it was a BLAST!!!
Another excellant adventure by Sean and all the volunteers at WHM. From a
Model T to a Ferrarri and everything inbetween. The buffett of modified
Camaro's was astounding. Everything from supercharged, turbo'd, direct port
nitrous injected and, just plain old carbed street rods. This was a great start
to 2012.

Volunteers? 500 cars @ $5 a pop=$2,500. Where does all the money go? I wish! Remember We Have 780 Parking Tags Out There That Allow Cars To Enter For Free Which Was 90% of the Participants In Attendace Had Those Free Entrance Tags!

Are those parking tags the same thing as the membership in wmh? Isn't that $10/year or something? If so then I still wonder, where does all the money go? I ask because I have been going to shows for over a decade and have never had to pay. What makes WMH meets more costly to host than other shows?

If donating $10 to our club(one time) to come to every event we hold(over 300 now) for free is an issue then no worries, no need to attend or voice your unsatisfaction.

Last year(2011) we held an event at our Caliber Venue 2 Times. August(Late Night), December(Toys for Tots). For 2012 so far was January(Earlier Time, Club Anniversary) but expect to host 2 more. One In August And December Like Last Year.
