After market steering wheel with bird logo

I have been asked by several people about my
steering wheel mod. I really liked my factory
steering wheel but like most it was getting
old/crumbly. Because replacement or repair
is so expensive and i being poor, had to find
a poor mans solution. I looked far and wide
and not to my surprise it seems NOBODY makes
an after market wheel with 'Firebird' logo. I
saw a thread on this board where a member
used a 3rd gen horn button logo he had modified
to fit his after market wheel. This seemed like
a nice solution and after a little research i
figured out that 'most' after market wheels
use a 2" horn button with approximately a 1.5"
logo. Well folks it just so happens that the 2nd
gen Firebird horn button logo's are 1.5" and
fit perfectly on a 2" after market horn button.
Being poor i purchased a JDM steering wheel
and a 2nd gen Firebird horn button logo from
Performance Years catalog. Logo is part number
PYI34 for $8. As can be seen in the pics the JDM
horn button logo was very easy to remove and
the new Firebird logo stuck right on there.

Nah I wish. A Momo with quick release would be
awesome but out of my budget. It has taken me
15 years to get the car to this point with half of
that time as a single parent. Now he's all grown
up with a great career so, the slow slog was
worth it.

On a side not guys. Keep in mind that the same
can be done with a 2nd gen Camaro horn button
logo.
