Hey, anybody know Glenn Green from Baytown? He bought my son's 1990 Firebird, the white one that was wrecked in the front and I need to get a hold of him. I only have his name and drivers license number. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Official 2010 Houston area Summer meet - Post here!
As of today i think i will make it. My firewall is done and wires are rerouted. Today i finally found an adapter for the electric fan temp switch. I had to swap the temp switch and temp sender units because the swtich connector was to close to the header on the passenger side head. I think i will set the primary fan with my adjustable relay at about 160F and the secondary fan run off the switch '200 on / 185 off'. Am sandblasting my recently aquired serpentine setup tomorrow. I also have new p/s pump, water pump, alternator, belt tensioner and smog pump delete pulley. A/C will have to wait. New hood shocks and a MSD 8920 tach adapter should be here tomorrow.
If i can get all this put together before the meet then i will try and do an electric cluster conversion. I have a couple of nice GTA 140mph/8k rpm clusters and vss'. If anyone has any experience with which wires need changing in the cluster connectors for fuel and oil pressure 'they swap positions in the cluster for those two gauges' let me know.
If anyone is interested in buying my VERY nice looking v-belt setup let me know. As seen in my pics the a/c is new with brand new chrome brackets. Alternator has chrome pulley, fan and bracket. Alternator and all other brackets have been sandblasted and painted with VHT black.

Awsome. Is there guesstimate to how many thirdgens will be there? I try to get my uncle/cousin to go. One of them has a 88/89 iroc convertible. Last year we were the only convertibles there and my top would go down! I was so pissed.

Zane actually lives a bit South of Conroe. I'm betting 242 & 45 would be a better meet up spot so he wouldn't have to travel so far in the wrong direction. & if I get my car running & my daughter doesn't make her appearance to the world to close to the date I could meet up there too.
Zane, I'm gonna try and give you a call tomorrow afternoon if that works for you. Last week I was on graveyard shift & it had me all messed up.

Re: Official 2010 Houston area Summer meet - Post here!
I thought I should probably go ahead and give a heads up and a reason why...
I love the idea of car gatherings, especially bbq car gatherings and this event sounds like its going to be a blast. I believe I actually showed up last year in a black/grey S-10 with my wife. She had decided she wanted a 3rd gen but couldnt decide camaro or firebird. So we showed up for about 30 minutes, looked at the cars, and left. Now we have a firebird and we would come and this time actually bring food + eat some too, but Sunday events are never a good thing for us. Hopefully we can make it next year.

Well, these events only happen once a year, so if you could make an exception this particular Sunday event, then we'll all get to see the Firebird you picked out!

I might stop by and check out the current lineup of thirdgens as long as I am in town. That is my birthday, after all.
I'm not sure if you guys will all remember me or not. I posted as Adam62083 and Arctic WS6. I had a white 1992 Formula with a ram air hood (pre 98 design) and ROH wheels. I ended up selling it and getting a 2001 Formula which is what I brought to the last meet I attended around 2002 or so.
1bad91Z - Are you the guy with the black camaro that came out to my place (well my parents' place actually) in Montgomery? circa 2001?
Also, is Sonar_Un still in town with that 86 TA that is sunset orange (also with a RA hood, but the later style)?

It could have been me, I do vaguely remember the white bird you described...
Sonar lives in New York now, I think. He sold his car awhile back and I've seen it recently for sale again on my side of town...

Well, getting there, cannot wait, the 6.0 is charging hard as ever and might even have the dope on her in a week or two.
