In some of my threads... how about every thread I post in or start, you just show up and start spamming? It gets old man. I post some stupid stuff, but if it makes people laugh, then so be it. I try to be serious on TGO, but then there's people like you who make it impossible to be.

The reason I am on this thread is because I occasionally spend summers in you guessed it... TEXAS! So I guess it's both of our boards now. God... I really am glad you're not a mod.

I might be interested in those brakes and rear end. What do you want for them...

i just counted, ~26~ have committed/semi committed in this thread, i know there will be more that don't post here hopefully, and we a few months to go we should have a good turnout!

 

I'm in. Maybe I can get my dads Iroc-z and my rs together for the event.

 

I'm expecting at least 30 plus cars, but, if we have in the 40 - 50 range, I wouldn't be surprised!

This means, you guys/gals need to wrap up projects and get them together by July. There's plenty of time to do so. That's why I started this thread so early.......

When we start to get closer, I'll be pushing to a few more people to attend that don't normally check the boards.

Is Neil's car the one with the LSX motor and widened rear quarter panels? I would love to see his car in person. And it's confirmed, i got a day off on that saturday so i will definitely be coming. Hopefully i will have my project finished by then so i can actually bring my thirdgen

Passed out another flyer today (white 89-90 TA).

 

I will be there unless I happen to be in South America on a business trip. I just have to be careful since I took the insurance off the car and let the registration expire. I will get the registration renewed I guess. Just haven't been driving the car except around the block now and then. Will do me good to get out with it.

 

if im done with everything that i want to do to my car, i'll show. i'll let ya'll kno way b4 to confirm.

Alright, starting on the new motor swap TODAY in the 86 TA, this is the car we have had the longest, so it is past due for it to get a new motor and my wife is ready

 

Well BLAST! Just got the new motor in the 86 TA and went to the exhaust shop just to hear a knocking noise in the new motor. Think a rod cap backed off. ****....i did not build this short block but evidently i should have....

 

He probably finally got tired of pulling his transmission out to fix it,

We have a problem.

I just got word that all the pavilions are booked up for all the Saturdays through August.

Pavillions 4, 7, and 8 are avaulable on SUNDAY the 26. I tenatively reserved #4 for Sunday, but will have to get them some money by Wednesday if that is what we want to do.

1991 Camaro RS It had a 305 but i pulled it Saturday. Auto trans, hardtop. needs a little TLC

 

It's $125. But that isn't a big deal.

We could do it at some random place in the park. There are lots of picnic tables and BBQ pits. We could even camp out right in front of pavillion #1. There are a couple of picnic tables and a BBQ right there.

 

sunday would work for me but it's probably would be better to stick to original and just change the location.

 

Bring a few BBQ pits,a few Eazy-Ups,chairs, no prob.

man i hope this all pans out. i keep doing mods and making darn sure they will not get in the way. by the way. what have all been using to clean the engine compartments.

 

I say keep it same day same place, we'll just show up and crash someones party or find some empty place to have it inside the park somewhere. If we have to move over a bit, so what!
