1992 Camaro B4C/1LE for sale $1500

Hey Guy's,

Saw this car for sale on Craigslist.org. Don't know if anyone needs another car but could be a good buy.

Alex

1992 Camaro B4C/1LE $1800.00 O.B.O. MAKE OFFER - $1500

1992 Camaro B4C/1LE for sale for $1,500.00 O.B.O. only 109,000 original texas miles on it Dont let the paint fool you!!!!

EXTERIOR:/ENGINE:
This car is an ex-Texas D.P.S. car. The body is in perfect shape no dings or dents anywhere It has the 305 TPI motor with the 5 speed tranny runs and shifts perfect. The engine starts and runs Great with no oil consumption. The person who i bought the car from took it down to maaco and must of goten the 99 dollar paint job on it. so it does need paint but no body work at all. You can see the original black and white paint scheme from the maaco paint chipping. The A/C works great. Radio works great.

INTERIOR: The seats are good and the top dash pad has some cracks in it. besides that its nice in side.

If you have any questions call me @713-725-2413 or email @ cblcbn2000@yahoo.com

Man......if it's in half way decent shape that's a steal!!!

Where is it......Houston area......Dallas.......what?

Hmmmm.....I guess by the 713 area code ....it is in Hou area?

With the B4C/1LE option just the "option" parts are almost worth that--even if it is a 305!

I bought the B4C/1LE

This is Ken Lee, and Yes, I bought the car in question.

You will be happy to know that I paid only $1300

It runs like a champ and is very fast.

Other than paint, the car needs, brakes and tires all the way around, and a new EGR valve. Also needs a new dash pad and headliner.

A/C works, but can't get the heater to. In fact, the A/C compressor comes on in every position other than off. including the 'vent' and 'heater' positions. Not sure what is going on there because the vents are opening correctly with the indicator but a/c comes on anyway. Probably vacuum line.

This is the fourth Camaro I have owned. Previous cars were 89 RS, 87 Z28, 81 Z28

May be the vacuum controlled heater control valve by front of the passenger valve cover--assuming all the heater hoses are still in tact??? But then again, maybe not!

Any idea why the compressor comes on in the heat and vent position. Or is that also controlled by the valve you mentioned?

I wll try and make your next meeting.

Compressor will kick on with defrost and AC but not vent or heat. Heat is controlled by that valve and Vac line. Vent is just moved by a vac line.

Well my compressor comes on in the heat and vent positions.
I'll let you know if I figure out why.

The switch is probably shorted out, making it come on anytime ANY air system is active (AC or Heat).

MAN i bought mine for 1500 and the paint and body are crap as you guys saw and the engine had a spun rod bearing requiring me to rebuild it... but at least came with a 355 (305 was blown, guy put in the 355 afterwards) and SLP headers, afpr, and some other performance stuff....
getting injectors and the chip burned (by mike) next week....
then registration, fake inspection, and then insurance, then
hope to see you guys at the mod party and meet but i might be working till around 4... ill see if i can get off of work early though

You will need a new A/C control conroller.

I had the problem of the A/C compressor always turning on, and that fixxed it right up. Get yourself a hookup at a GM stealership and get a real part, dont waste money on used.
