Some ******* cross threaded the the tranny crossmember bolts at some point in time on the RS. Needless to say I broke both of them on the passenger side. I may have to drill them and re-tap. Where can I get this stuff? anyone have a set? I dont think the parts stores rent them.

if you mean ez out as in removing the bolts I'm surprised the parts store doesn't have them. if you mean a tap and die set try a hardware store. if they don't have it a good (as in a full size tool dept) sears would have it. they aren't cheap though (of course I want the 117pc one). or if you see them around snap-on, mac, or matco. I should say that just where to buy them, I have no idea about renting them.

Any parts store should have them.

I remember breaking 3 off into my intake manifold after a bolt broke changing the thermostat.

That's when I a thermostat job turned into this after I had to take the manifold off to have the bolt drilled out, tapped, etc.

Ok, then bring me a bolt for the Kmember and I'll loan you a tap and bit. Just call Steve when you are ready.
