Houston Area Gathering - last "before" school
89ROC suggested that I make a new post and he'd make a sticky. It seems as though everyone's schedules are as free as mine...and the Kuykhendahl setup has been bought out by someone.
So here's the plan. I'm gonna go ahead and set a date and time but if you have a conflict - post it and we'll resolve it. Also - this post is a poll so tell us if you can show or not.
DATE: August 3rd, 2002
TIME: 8 oclock until whenever you feel the need to go
PLACE: Humble James Coney Island - located on FM 1960 after the Deerbrook Mall next to the Academy
I tried thinking of a restaurant we could all meet at before the JC show but to no avail. If you have a suggestion - post it. However, I do think it is important not to loiter in the parking lot of JC...buy a coke.
Who's going? Gathered the posse yet? What will you be showin? Let us know.

Does anybody with some art skills want to make a standup-poster thingy with Houston Thirdgen Association on it? We could use it to reserve some spots. Just an idea.
Let's all hope it's blazin hot on Saturday with not a cloud in the sky.

All I have left to do is sand and buff. I should be able to make it. Even if not all shiny and purty. I;ll tell a friend I just met w/ a formula 350 to come. He may be able to make it.

Sorry, I won't be able to come.
Between working all the time, moving into a new house when I'm back in state (I'm in Arkansas building swimming pools right now) and trying to negotiate the purchase/trade of another car, I don't have time at all.

well, did it happen or not? I wasnt able to come out afterall, but I figured that with all the damn rain nobody would have shown up anyway. I know it was raining pretty hard at astroworld at about 5.
Adam, how'd you do at Baytown on friday night?! I thought I recognized your car but I wasnt sure. I only got 2 runs in because they told me I needed long pants , but I still got a 13.7 at 105. not bad I guess for my first time to the track. going back on sunday?
