Re: The Forza 4 picture thread.
Have they finally fixed the taillights on the GTAs yet? On Forza three the taillights on GTAs didn't have the grids and it drove me crazy!

Re: The Forza 4 picture thread.
Personally, I wish they'd put the 89 TTA in there instead of an 87 GTA. I wouldn't be upset with the 91,92 Firehawk though.
Their weight for the IROC seems off by about 200lbs. A fully loaded GTA weighs in a 3476lbs with all of the options, so how is the IROC 3600 and change? Did the guy have a stereo system in there?

Re: The Forza 4 picture thread.
Sitting pretty in A class.
Speed: 6.4
Handling: 6.4
Acceleration: 8.1
Launch: 8.1
Braking:7.0
Its sitting pretty with 385hp and 2850lbs on full slicks with aero. Its lightened as much as it'll go. I think almost 1.2G cornering grip and 60mph to zero in under 100ft.
Its not a car you can try and run from the pack width. You basically have to bully your way past the cars in the corners in shorter races or bid your time in long ones. Gotta carry your speed with this car, top speed is only about 150 I think. Late braking, and high exit speeds are your friends with this car. Not too much of a handful but when it breaks loose thats it you've lost the corner.
Won alot of credits with it so far. I do like how when your Affinity with a MFG gets high enough upgrades are free. Basically once you hit level 5 or 6 the entire upgrade path becomes free. You can do just about anything to the car for 0 credits.
You should see the Lotus Elan Sprint I have. 1600lbs, 328hp, All acceleration, braking, and grip. Top speed is 141mph but man does it fly.

Re: The Forza 4 picture thread.
Is there enough improvement in Forza 4 over Forza 3 to make it worth getting? I love my cars in the third one. And that whole free upgrades thing sounds like a nice feature to have if you just wanna build cars like crazy. What kinda motor is in your GTA in the game? Still the L98?

Re: The Forza 4 picture thread.
Yeah, the GTA has the L98 still. with everything else installed on it I hop out of A class if I put the LS3 in it. Which is the only swap engine you can do. Kind of annoying as you could drop in a LS1, LS7, LS9...etc. But not in F4 I don't know how much power the LS3 can make, but I have a feeling the 3rd gen Camaro will have the LS9 as a swap.

Graphics are much improved as well. Cars now have realistic reflections coming off of them, instead of the gradiants that 3 had. I'm fairly impressed with 4.
The car selection is really great in 4. We traded a few Porsches for some better cars like the 70 Camaro, 240sx hatch, etc.
Only thing I'm unimpressed with is the autocross gametype. Not much time was taken to perfect it.
Another slight annoyance is that you can't paint with matte colors, and you can't paint your wheels white.

Re: The Forza 4 picture thread.
Anyone want to hop on Forza 4 tonight for some online racing?
XBL tag: onebad355gta, send a friend request and I will add you. Sadly I'm not a co-founder to the club i'm in so I can't share cars unless I drop out of that club and start a TGO club. I wish I could lend my cars "keys" to people on my friends list.

I'm glad they tweaked the gameplay so that the 3rd gens can now be driven. Seeing the other pics makes me notice how much resolution I'm missing out on with my projection tv, its 1080p but there is some loss in detail. Might be time to get a 50" plasma for the bedroom!

Re: The Forza 4 picture thread.
I think it 1st appeared in GT2, still don't know why they can't render a production model when there are like 15 versions of the NSX. Forza 4 doesn't have Porsche, anyone else notice that? I didn't till it was pointed out lol. Just goes to show, nobody will miss the 3rd gens except for the people who care for them.

I may get flamed for this, but a high compression naturally aspriated flat six makes beautiful noise.

Re: The Forza 4 picture thread.
Licensing agreements.
I don't count the IROC concept as a thirdgen. I would have rather them put in a 82 z28 crossfire than that...
At some point I will get an xbox 360 and forza 4 simply because it has two real thirdgens. I can then modify my GTA the way I want it since I can't do anything to it in real life....

Re: The Forza 4 picture thread.
I don't want a RUF, I want a PORSCHE. I don't care that they are modded porsches.
I want a 550 Spyder, 944 Turbo, a 78' 911 Turbo, I want a 911 GT3 RS 4.0. For all of their capability the RUF cars are pretty fugly.
I'm not angry at Turn 10 that Porsche's aren't in the game. Electronic Arts is the pansy who holds the licensing and they want that exclusivity for their NFS games.

Re: The Forza 4 picture thread.
Well, don't hav FM4 yet, but I do still have some cool designs on FM3. Here is my Heritige Edition 1990 Iroc.
This picture makes it seem lumpy for some reason.
This one is my favorite.
I have the design with red stipes on black as well, but this is actually my favorite. Plus, its the most recocnizable heritige addition theme.

I'll have to snap some pics of the Camaro that I built for A class. But here's a pic I took that I think looks simply awesome even though its not a thirdgen.

Here's my personal design I use in competition. Its sort of a mix beteen the Aniv. Corvette and Camaro. It's got a Supercharged 383 (its the 350 but I stroked it out) Class A 599. Does low twelves in the 1/4

Re: The Forza 4 picture thread.
When you snap a pic in Photomode after you save it to the Xbox it will ask you if you want to upload it to the FM4 storefront. Once its uploaded you can go to www.forzamotorsport.net and login with your live account and the pictures will all be there.
For those who aren't on the up and up Turn 10 released pics of the December car pack. I won't post all of them. But the thirdgen's little brother has finally made the cut. The car pack is out on Dec. 6th, since I already have the Season Pass I get it automatically.
