7th gen Camaro?!?!?!?
Ok fellas, heres my thoughts... The fifth gen camaro is fashioned after a first gen and I think it looks awesome!!!!
So, if GM continues on that trend, will the 6th gen camaros look like revamped 2nd gens????? And 7th gens after the 3rd gens????
So heres the challenge... I wanna see how you photoshop pros can make a revamped, remodeled, upgraded new 3rd gen as they did with the 5th gen! Should be a lotta fun and Im sure there will be some really awesome concepts from you guys!
Roll with it! Have fun and lets see some!
Also, lets hear what you think the next gen camaros will look like if you dont think Chevy is gunna fly that direction.

Re: 7th gen Camaro?!?!?!?
I don't want to be a pain, but the new 5th gen's are modeled after more than just the 1st generation Camaros. IIRC they take cues from the second generation as well, I read about it in a Chevy mag. Just sayin'! Sorry!

Honestly, I'm not much of a fan of the 5th gens... and I don't doubt ya oH. So how long do you give chevy until they change design again?

the tails on the 5th resemble the 70's round tails more than a first gens rectangular.

While we're on the subject of next gen Camaros. Found this the other day. While it has the same flaws as the 5th gen(SUV styling/fat with no overhangs and tall sides/doors) it looks kinda cool.

Not bad! Thats what I'm talking about. Any of you photoshop experts think you can update a 3rd gen to look like a new model? Come on guys, I'd love to see what anyone can do.I'm somewhat of an artist (not that great) but I cant use any computer programs, just good old pencil and paper. Maybe I can draw something and put it up here one of these days when I can draw one. Until then, lets see what anyone else can do!

Re: 7th gen Camaro?!?!?!?
Well I had a lot of time today, so I figured I might as well give it a shot. Like I said, I'm not the greatest artist but can draw somewhat. So here's a pic of what I drew. It's not vastly different than a third gen, but it gets what I had in mind across.
So, let me know what you think. Also, if there are any photoshoppers who would like to take this and give it some life (color, shine, headlights, rims, anything that makes it more realistic) then go for it. I'd love to see what others can do. I'd also like to see more if anyone can...

Re: 7th gen Camaro?!?!?!?
Well I've never used photoshop before but I looked on YouTube for how to alter the shape of a car. So I gave it a shot... It's not the best, but this is what I would really like the front end to look like.
And Ruckusz28, thanks for the compliment! I would like to have added some hood louvers in the shape of what they originally came in but with more the look of what the new ZL1 has! Oh well.

Functional louvers would be cool! Much cooler than the zl1 stuff. That kind of reminds me of the hood of a husqvarna lawn tractor lol

Wow. Old thread, but I just stumbled across a pretty cool video that basically covered this. Check it out.

Re: 7th gen Camaro?!?!?!?
Well... when they ride the same body for 9 yrs., with slight mods to the facia and tails, people get tired of the same car.
The platform wasn't widely accepted from the start. People were happy they brought back the Camaro, and anticipated new styling with the new gen.
GM reports that the Camaro will remain the same, with some more facia updates, until 2023, when they axe the Camaro for a second time.
All while the Mustang is continuing it's legacy, and the Mopar line-up is attracting and converting the Camaro people.
Discontinuing the Camaro is no big deal... it was much more upsetting when GM eliminated the Pontiac and Oldsmobile lines.
