i had to repost this because i didn't put request in the title and my edit didn't make it show up so i think people that can do this work may overlook the other thread thinking that it's not a request but a post of a finished wallpaper.

can anybody work up a wallpaper that i can use with a third gen firebird logo on it? i'm looking for something simple and not too bright.... i run at 1280x1024 so anything close to that would be nice. i really really stink with art kinda stuff so i just can't make anything that i can be happy with. my car is a RED 87 formula 350 if that is any help for ideas...

i have seen some of the other stuff done in the "wallpaper" thread but i'm looking for something with a firebird logo and i just can't seem to find it....i'm sure others would be interested in this also.

Something simple, I can make it say anything you want, be any color you want, any text you want... Just let me know.

 

thank you! that is EXACTLY what i wanted.. i will be able to change the color from there! i will just change the white to some shade of red.... thank you so much for that!

 

not that it is any big deal but i changed the color to red and i LOVE it... exactly what i wanted.. i couldn't not find a logo that i could use like that and i don't have the skill to take any logo i found and just make it simple like that.. thank you for any time that you spent on this!

where did you get that firebird logo???

 

The font is called Good Times, and is really close, if not exactly like the actual Firebird Font.

The Firebird logo I got on here once, and I was lucky enough to grab it. For the picture, all I did was invert the colors (to make it white with black background) and paste it into a black blank page in Photoshop.

 

I was just curious where you got the logo, because I was the one who originally made it... I could tell as soon as I saw it, because the left side of the bird wing is thicker than the right side. I scanned it from my '82 shop manual and edited out the background etc... there were some imperfections on the one side so I tried to make a mirror image and put the good side over the imperfections. I didn't do it perfectly so I know what they are. Plus the fact I matched it up with the one on my hard drive that I made. I don't care if you use it, I just wanted to let you know I was the originator of it. I don't remember putting it on here, but maybe I did at one point.
