white letter tires on 15" rims
I've noticed that my tires are just pretty blah, too much black ina fairly high profile tire.
I ran a photoshop if how it would look with white letter tires, tell me what you think

I have raised white letters on my stock 15" rims and like it a lot. To me, it just looks right.

you're welcome... if you want a photoshop of your car, post a picture of it on this thread and I an do an example of how it would look
thanks for the input guys! White letters get a bad rap around here in threads I've read, but I think they looks great on the 15" old school painted wheels. Maybe not on the larger aluminum wheels though

Re: white letter tires on 15" rims
You can get a white letter marker it's like a soft chalk/paint mix. It lasts for a long time I know truck drivers that have used it on their trucks. We put more miles on a truck in a year than most people put on a car in a lifetime. So if it will last a year traveling 130,000 for solos and team trucks going 280,000 miles you should be OK.

Buy a set of white letter tires and then get the yellow marker from the link in my post above. You can also buy them from any auto parts store.

Think the white letters will look great on your car but don't forget tire shine to keep them looking new. I suggest Meguiars Hot Shine. A great product.

Re: white letter tires on 15" rims
16s are available but if you want them your gonna have to get like 295s for bfg and firehawk 500s goodyear does nascar but those are 225s i haven't looked up wider sizes, but i will.
EDIT: the goodyear nascar ones only come in 225/60/16 thats pretty narrow for a 8in wide tire

Re: white letter tires on 15" rims
With 15" rims and white letter tires, your car can have a very sporty or traditional appearance. They deliver dependable function together with a classic appearance. Just make sure the tire specs fit the needs of your car for the best handling and safety. Excellent option for both function and style!

Oh, and they are WHEELS. No 15-inch "rim" is gonna fit on a thirdgen F-body...

Over the last couple years I have noticed quite a few new members like this posting only one or two posts with extremely obvious information, all worded like they are writing an online article or using it as an online reference.
I haven't quite figured it out yet because I am falling way far behind on tech these days, but I think it has something to do with people building an online profile of some kind or needing to create a post for their college reference list or something. That or kids in China building information for an AI platform.

Re: white letter tires on 15" rims
One-posters like that one (with generic content) are likely spambots generated by some AI entity. Gain a foothold on a public forum, then begin spamming ads or links to other internet sites in order to either sell something or mine ID info.
Posts that most annoy me are the 1-posters starting out new threads claiming zero mechanical knowledge, then posting a long list of questions and requests for a vast amount of very specific info on how to build a 1000 hp engine on very little $$$. I come away feeling like they're from an alternate account, trolling; the OP always seems to know the exact buzzwords to elicit the most/longest replies.
Prob shouldn't complain though, in this day and age of forum-based sites going down like the Titanic, I guess any site traffic is good traffic.
