Re: Post your firebird pics
i painted the hood ,looks a heck of a lot better than before.i also picked up some new umi sub frame connectors, adjustable panhard bar, wonderbar and adjustable torque arm(at a used cost of course, all for a grand Canadian)
here is a night shot of the hood,i definitely need a better camera.those iroc rims look great,i think i want some 17 or 18" honeycombs or bbs style rims but one thing at a time.

Re: Post your firebird pics
^thanks! I don’t mind the wheels you have now and you grabbed them at a good price iirc. Nice job on paint matching hood ! I realize if I paint mine or wrap I’d lose sleep trying to match the white exactly so other colors will do when ready lol

Figured I’d share my 87 Trans Am it’s an Ls1/T56 setup. 243 heads and mild cam, hawks budget headers, ctsv big brake setup and the icing on the cake...
CCW Classics (fitment for 4thgen fbody)

Thanks in advance.
I'm in the process of rebuilding mine as he has been in storage for 12 years. Hopefully done for the summer.

Re: Post your firebird pics
Thanks!! As for the lowering spring someone gave them to me.. they look like an off brand painted like purple. I’ll measure from the ground to the fender to give an idea. I like the stance but the headers hang low and scrape on almost every speed bump. Your project is looking dope as well! Keep it up! These cars are getting harder to find.. at least in my area

Re: Post your firebird pics
It's finally home ! I'll have some work to do on it but with almost no budget for the moment, first things will not be aesthetics for sure.

Haven’t been on in a while so I have a lot of catching up to do. Been busy with kids lol. Not sure how tgo members balance family and car time, but props to them! Nonetheless, great to see people showing some love with their cars....here’s mine nothing new. Just glad to be driving when I can lol!

Re: Post your firebird pics
gta
i think im just going to strip it,its got some pretty intense cancer underneath,in the strut towers, drivers side floor, rear fender passenger side.
i dont have room for both and can not get into an intensive restoration of a rusty car in a single garage at a town house.
im definitely stealing your idea of using GTA badges, possibly the wrap around wing(i do like my high-rise though and it weighs MAYBE
a 5th of what those wrap around wings weigh),some of the interior, the aluminum drive shaft, the ceramic coated headers ETC ETC ETC.
I may actually take the L98 350 out,the 700r4 out,the nose and anything that is or isn't bolted down.

Re: Post your firebird pics
Don' think i ever posted pics of my shifter mod. So when i did a t56 upgrade on my 82 t/a i used a new factory camaro ss Hurst leather shifter handle with red stitching to match the car. I also had to make a spacer to move the shifter handle over so it sits in the middle of the shifter plate hole.
This being the red car...

Re: Post your firebird pics
Looking good man! I get in trouble with half that power lol so can’t imagine 700hp! Been able to take mine out, and aside from spirited driving, its just too hard not to race someone that’s revving next to you lol. Nice to see more firebird love.

Re: Post your firebird pics
Both those cars look great with those wings!
The dash and console are from a 89 gta. The shifter **** and boot are from a stock 2011 camaro ss with hurst option. I used an aftermarket Hurst Competition Plus shifter with a shortened 4" handle using a 1" spacer to mount the shifter in the center of the shifter plate hole.
2011 Camaro Hurst Shifter Boot & ****
