Swedish Iroc at Streetweek

Hi everybody!
We have just finished the Swedish version of Dragweek. We race 1/8 for 5days in a row and drive about 1000miles total between the races.
We drive mostly on totally unprepared airfields but 2days it was pretty good tracks.
We drive in a class were the only rule is 10.5 tires.
And we ended up as NR 1 in our class 3gen ftw

The fastest et of the week. Can’t wait to put some more power in it on a good track. Best speed of the week was 129 mph. (126 on the 5.64)

Re: Swedish Iroc at Streetweek

I don't think I could ever get used to doing metric drag racing. It's funny how you still get a 60 foot time though.

200 meters is very close to 1/8 mile but not 100% exact. If anyone had to switch over then 200/400 meters would be a close enough equivalent to 1/8 and 1/4 mile racing.

1/8 mile = 660 feet
200 meters = 656.168 feet.

That 4 foot difference isn't going to be a huge change between 1/8 mile and 200 meter speed and ET.

Looking at your 200m ET, it looks like you could run 8.86 in the 1/4 but 1/4 mile would be 8 feet longer than 400m so maybe a very low 9.0 or even into the 8.90's.

That's pretty good considering you also drove 1000 miles during the week.

Hi!
we race 201m or a 1/8mile according to our rules for this race. It’s just easier to say 200 or 400 meters for us
would be nice to try this car on a 1/4 strip this year. I would really like to get an 8 second run out of it

Re: Swedish Iroc at Streetweek

We’re home again after a weekend at the Dragstrip.
The best 1/8 time was 5.63 and 1/4 8.64 164mph at the rev Limiter. 1,35 60ft and pretty much timing retard the first 1/8 so we have some more in it for the future
we only made 3 passes and in the second pass it made a very long and high wheelie but it still

resulted in an 8.80 run and that was my first 8second run!
We’re very happy with how the car works now and looking forward to go faster.

Hi! Now we have some 1/4 mile times with similar 1/8 times. We take out pretty much power the first 1/8 and I believe that’s why it goes faster in 1/4 than what you calculated. Next season I look forward to put some more power in earlier and see if I can get it to hook.
