Does anybody know the correct paint color/code for 1992 GTA gold wheels?
I am refinishing the wheels on my 92 T/A, and would like to re-spray the centers the factory gold color. Pretty sure the earlier (87-88 maybe?) cars used a different shade, and want to make sure I get the correct color.
This is a fun project, I just got mine finished. I however did 4 fronts so I'd have the same offset on all 4 coroner's. I did the sanding of the barrels on a brake lathe.
And yes I have two dimpled and two not. Soon as I locate two more fronts I will correct this but unfortunately at the time I got lucky to find another set so I rolled with it.
Thanks, I really appreciate it. As fun and rewarding as it is it is a lot of work. I stripped the old paint and clear coat, sanded starting with 400 grit and worked up to 1200, paint and cleared and finally put them back on brake lathe and polished. Probably have around 5 or 6 hours per wheel.
BlackOOSS their was only 2 gold colors for those wheels champagne Gold and Gold Met.
but for 92 the color was Gold Met 52P.
I'm trying to show the color code and for some reason it's not taking
