June 2018 COTM **Nomination Thread**
This thread is for June 2018 COTM **Nominations** PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE COTM NOMINATION RULES BEFORE PROCEEDING TO NOMINATE A MEMBER’S RIDE FOR COTM.
REMEMBER, WE MUST PROTECT THE INTEGRITY OF THE CONTEST SO THAT THE MOST DESERVING MEMBER WINS.
This thread is a Nomination Thread to nominate cars that will compete for this month's Car of the Month honor. The 12 (or less) most popularly nominated cars will be compiled into a *Voting Thread* in a couple of weeks. If you do not nominate a member's car for COTM, you can still second or third (fourth, fifth, so on) someone else's nomination. Cars must have at least a second nomination in order to make the Voting Thread.

- Do not nominate your own car. Your car must be nominated by another TGO Member.
- Do not ask your wife, husband, friends, extended family, etc. to register as TGO Members for the purpose of nominating your car.
- Do not nominate more than one car.
- Do not use multiple member accounts to nominate your own car or to nominate multiple cars.
- This is not a picture thread. Post only one (1) good photo of the car you wish to nominate. Do not use unrealistic, overly-processed images.
- You must post a picture with your nomination. This must be a full-sized picture (or at the very least, a pic or thumb that enlarges into a full-sized picture when you click on it).
- Correctly identify the user name of the member who you nominate.
- Correctly identify the year and model/trim of the car you nominate.
- Do not nominate cars that are not in a high quality, finished state.
- And if you are nominated, please DO go out and take an abundance of good quality photos of your ride (multiple angles, interior, engine) and make them publicly accessible (for example via a photo album in your public profile or some sort of hyperlink to your photo album).
*****This Month's Criteria*****
OPEN SEASON
Any very high quality, finished, stock or modified 1982-92 Camaro or Firebird.

Re: June 2018 COTM **Nomination Thread**
It's not that I want to be nit-picky, but the correct spelling of that user name is Ls2 GTO.
Note the use of spacing and lower-case lettering & capitalization.
Here's why this is important to me:
I have to inform each nominee, via PM, that their car has been nominated - because if I don't, they may be left unaware that they need to post pics and info in the **Voting Thread**. It can be very hard to locate & contact individual members based on incorrect spelling of their user name. Aside from that, most members/nominees seem to prefer that their user names be spelled correctly for COTM purposes.
This is the most common oversight as far as adhering to the COTM Nomination Rules, which is why it's in extra-large red print in the **Rules** in post #1 in every **Nomination Thread**.
You also didn't specify the model year and trim (1992 Purple Haze Z03 Z28) - less of an issue in this instance, as it is a one-year-only trim package that is visually apparent. But FWIW, that is the second most common oversight, which is why it is also in extra-large print.
Like I said, these are common oversights. tony91rs, just know that I am not the least bit upset and am not looking to out you publicly, but rather, am just taking this opportunity to publicly express why it would be helpful if everyone took that extra moment to cross their ts and dot their is, so to speak, when putting up a nomination.

Thanks for the nomination. I’ve been on TGO for over 17 years. Most if not all ideas and help came from this forum.

Sure looks like that orange car has some badly faded paint in areas. Only saying this because COTM does have high standards.

prossi and his 87 GTA
Honestly, not a fan of the notchback but I do have to tip my hat to this one. Car is insanely clean, well built, and a track car.

That car is built exceptionally well and wearing some cool parts!
But you'll have to save your story and pictures for the voting thread.

Cool! Looks like all the nominees posted in this thread. That'll make it easy to notify them that the **Voting Thread** is now up and running.
