What size nut do i need to install rear quarter spoiler pieces on my 91 camaro?
Just bought a 3 pc spoiler from a 92 camaro rs. however the quarter pieces didnt include nuts like the center piece did. The center piece has studs with thread on em , but the quarter pieces dont. Theyre a plain solid tab/stud. What nut size or what do i need to install the quarter pieces? any help is appreciated.
the solid stud without threads, what kind of nut goes on here or pivot washer?

No direct knowledge, don't see them in the parts catalog, but if I had to guess, I'd bet they were something like these. This is a screenshot from the Auveco catalog. Usually you can find any of their products on Ebay, or from a reseller like Clips and Fasteners.

I actually just installed mine.
They may in fact be 10mm, but I just brought the piece to the local autobody supply and eyeballed 'em. ....some of my washers were pretty beat up so again, I just eyeballed some similar fender washers and used sealant since they didn't have rubber on 'em.

Yes...those will leak if water gets down to them, which it probably will. On mine, I placed the part on the car with the studs in the holes. If you have a helper, hav them hold the spoiler peice as mine didn't want to sit flush without fasteners. Then I applied sealant to a fender washer and placed it over the stud. The sealant held it in place, so long as the spoiler doesn't move (helper). Then I fastened the speed nut.
I'm not sure how you'd tighter those that you got. They may be press on, not threaded.
Speed nuts are really the right way to do it. They should be available at the car parts store/Napa/CQ/AZ/Advance....etc. etc. I bought mine at a local auto body supply.

The ones pictured are a press on & a semi permanent type, really hard to remove. Also i apologize, i checked mine and they are 11mm.Same as used on iroc louvers & on the qtr panel gfx.
How were the 10mm too big though?

Your measuring the socket used to install the nut. The size of the stud is probably 6mm

Oh okay cuz at first i had gone to the store and found a 10mm flanged hex nut and it was too big for the spoiler stud, therefore i got the others instead, stilllookin for speed nuts since napa for some reason didnt have any either. Okay will buy rtv sealant as well along with tje washer and will continue lookin for speed nuts.
MY question now is: is there any particular sized speed nut i wud need for the stud ? Or are they all about the same size

Measure the stud. Order the nuts for that stud size.

Drew is right, you can measure, but you can also just eyeball it since they cut the thread, unlike a traditional nut and bolt. You'll also have some of the same sized speed nuts holding the rear GFX on. Right behind the rear wheel.
EDIT...of course that won't work if you've gotta order online I guess, lol

Re: What size nut do i need to install rear quarter spoiler pieces on my 91 camaro?
So i installed one of the quarter spoiler pieces and i broke one stud on the side in which now i only have 1 stud up top holding it. since the other side stuf was already broken when i bought it... lol any siggestions on how to repair or remount studs? i really want threaded studs like the center piece comes with. Those speed nut studs are dumb
