Where to get hose for non A/C heater box?
not sure what forum to post this under so please move if need be.
is it possible to buy a replacement hose for a non a/c heater box - besides finding a used one somewhere? the shop that painted my car either lost or threw out this piece on me.
it is the "L" shaped hose that goes from the blower motor to the box in the picture below:

Is it specific? GM# 3037062
Appears to be pretty common on heater only equipped GM vehicles of the time period.

Trucks in junkyards would probably be the place I'd start looking. A person could scribble notes about which cars shown on the gmpartswiki page may have had that part, and hit all the mom and pop junkyards. Might just luck into a Celebrity or something stupid like that, with the part you need.
Could probably also just get a grommet that fits the hole in the motor, and a chunk of pipe that fits the grommet snug, and use a 90* molded heater hose to connect the tube to the box. Zip ties or plastic clamps like the AIR hose clamps would be more than enough tension to keep it from falling apart.

Common and easy to find:
Its a Blower Motor Cooling Tube
Less than $9 bucks.

Ehhh... No.
AcDelco 15-34062 crosses over to GM # 3035192, which doesn't cross over to any thirdgen cooling hose. Further, 3035192 is for A/C cars.

Re: Where to get hose for non A/C heater box?
Quick update: I found one place online that has the correct NOS tube for sale but they wanted like $60 for it. That’s too much. I ended up searching a junkyard and found the same tube on a non-A/C box in an older Chevy pickup for $2.
