It’s the lower hex head bolt And this is where it is!
Hey guys,
I’m up to the point of removing the convertible top from the car but there are a couple damaged pieces. One bolt is missing from one of the major pivot points at the rear of the hood and it looks like it’s stripped the cast aluminium on its way out.
I know what’s caused it though so once repaired it shouldn’t be a problem.
Obviously im going to have to tap the thread but I’m wondering whether you can help me locate an original bolt first to test it with a locktite type of material before I start drilling and tapping.
I’ve attached pictures of the offending item (on the opposite side so you can see what I need) and its location. Help would be greatly appreciated with this.

I was attempting to demonstrate the component I need, rather than showing you a photo of a hole with nothing in it.
I can post the hole with nothing in it if that will help?!

He is a member on here and he parts out old cars; That bolt I think you are only going to find on a junked or parted out car. That frame was made by ASC which is the company that made the convertible conversion.
You want these shouldered bolts with the hex head?
Try contacting Lon at www.top-downsolutions.com
or I have seen them on flea-bay.
But they are quite $pendy!
