Room for Lt1 and procharger?
I'm about to pull in my LT1 to put in my new 383 and I thought I would do a test fit of my procharger D1SC on the old motor before I remove it and I can't seem to get it to fit. It seems as though it is hitting the power steering box. Has anyone else had this problem or know a solution

Re: Room for Lt1 and procharger?
Well I went ahead and tried....and the answer is no. The bracket let alone the blower mega hits the steering box. I messaged around quite a bit and have decided that I will try and custom make a plate to mount the blower 9" higher (yes that's how high you have to go from the factory lt1 location (make sense why the 3rd gen version is so high). I'll keep you posted, step one is get my old lt1 out and install the new 383.
