Cruise Control Vacum lines

Hi
Am currently reinstalling my cruise control on my 87 GTA and found a lot of diagrams which show the vacum hose from the T-Piece in the plenum (also leading to the HVAC) to y going to the cruise control servo and reservoir ball.

All is fine so far but what goes to the second hole on the servo? Looks like it takes 2x vacum hoses but all the diagrams show only 1.

Re: Cruise Control Vacum lines

Goes to the switch on the brake pedal to release the vacuum when you hit the brakes.

Re: Cruise Control Vacum lines

So it is also a vacum pipe? I thought what goes to the brake switch is a wire not a pipe. Will take a look at the brake pedal then.

Re: Cruise Control Vacum lines

The brake pedal has both a electrical disconnect for the cruise but also a safety override vacuum release in case for some reason the electrical release fails.

Re: Cruise Control Vacum lines

Understood. I went to take a quick look at the pedal and it does actually have this hose.

Thanks for all the information guys. Much appreciated
