Re: STRUT BAR

Not sure you'll find one that'll work. I know edelbrock used to make a carb/TBI brace, but I think even if you go in front the HSR, you're going to run into issues with the intake tubing.

Anything is possible though, so I'll keep and eye out to see what you come up with, or find that works. I know a lot of the HSR guys would be interested.

Re: STRUT BAR

google search edelbrock TBI strut tower brace.

TONS of pics! ...looks like it would almost work, but the front bar might hit the underside of the throttle body. Little welding...you might be on to something.

Re: STRUT BAR

If you decide to start with the old Edelbrock design, QA1 bought that from Edelbrock, and still makes them.

Re: STRUT BAR

Tibo, do you have a pic from the side? Do you think it'd clear the throttle body on a TPI or HSR? Some pics of that brace make it look like it's possible, others look nowhere close. In your pic, it looks like it would ever so slightly tuck in right under the cast oval-inlet part of the TB, just in front of the IAC housing. (HSR) ....but again....so hard to really see.

....of course, if it WERE possible, I'm sure Eddy/QA1 would be quick to point that out!
