Radwood Car Show for '80-'90s Cars - Dec. 2nd in Anaheim
This is the 2nd annual car show dedicated to cars from the '80s and '90s. This is the first I've heard about it, but I plan on taking my car.
11am-5pm Dec 2nd at Phoenix Club in Anaheim

Finally! A show for our generation of cars.
I'm going to try to go (but as a spectator)

Pfff, all the good stuff happens in California.. I mean aside from the emissions stuff...But seriously I would love to go to a car show with just cars from the same era for once. Im tired of losing to brand new trucks covered in plastic chrome from autozone..

Ha, that was fast. I signed up for a regular entry, so if anyone else signs up for the $25 entry, they'll probably park us all together in that section.

I'll go on the hunt for the other 3rd genners. Supposedly over 300 spots, and it's almost all sold out.
Remember, period dress is almost mandatory. Break out the Members Only jacket, those fly all-white reeboks, and slap on that watch calculator.

I wanted all the Firebirds to be together. Looking forward to this event, sounds pretty cool! The 80's-90's theme is a nice twist on the regular car show.

I did see that.
The venue just sprung something on them, each car needs cardboard under their engine. Bring some for your rides. Weird, I know.

Here's a few pictures from the venue:
It was really fun!
I wish I had entered a car!
But, there were plenty of Firebirds representing.
The green car doesn't have an interior yet, but as soon as it does, I'm in for their next show!
There must have been 200 cars. Not just exotics. Just all kinds of everything.
I really recommend this show. If you didn't go, you missed out!

Re: Radwood Car Show for '80-'90s Cars - Dec. 2nd in Anaheim
I have to say it was probably the single most fun car show I've ever attended. Everyone was in good spirits, no bad behavior, etc.
It's not every day third gens get to park in such good company..
Third gens seemed well represented. 83 TA and 86 IROC in the main lot along with a 91/92 v6 vert. GTA under the main tent, and our 2 were by the food court.
The star of the show, for me, was this unmolested, 50k mile, 1986 Honda Prelude. This is how you take care of a car.

This podcast mentioned the attending thirdgens with admiration! It's nice to see third gens getting some love when they're often overlooked.

The picture was a little washed out because it was in a white tent. You should see his car in the sun!
Thanks for the podcast! Thtanner
Like them, I was just walking around all smiling, it was so cool.

Definitely not your average Car Show,
The Beer selection was Superb! I opted to eat at the restaurant and it was an absolute delight The free water & coffee was a nice touch by the event coordinators. The shirts that Clarion gave away are "Totally Rad" The guy with the Purple Prowler gave me a Hot Wheels of his car, which was pretty Rad! The BMX Show wasn't that impressive (to me) but they tossed me a beanie which was pretty cool
JulieGTA1 Did you see they were looking for Buller?

It's in March at Sonoma Raceway. Back down to SoCal next year same time.
