Drop Top in November.. in New England!
This weather is awesome, who else in the Northeast is still dropping the top and cruising?

Thanks man!
T Tops are totally included in this weather!
It’s not all that different than T Top.. when you look behind you it’s like, whoa.. and it’s kinda weird everyone can see everything you do..
I want to get a TTop 5.7 someday too.

Thanks man! No big deal in So Cal I bet, but didn’t think I’d be cruising top down in November.. saw a lot of classic cars out!

Year round in AZ unless you’re in stop and go and it’s 115’ out. That’s pretty miserable.

If we had year round weather, I’d put too many miles on! Ha ha
When we do have good weather we don’t usually need AC either.. getting the 134A conversion is the last on my list of things to do..

Good one Tootie! My intention was to run on down to the gas station and fill up with non-ethanol gas and go straight back home...about 2 miles. Turned out to be an hour and a half. Next weekend.

Re: Drop Top in November.. in New England!
Went to go to the bank and decided since it was 75 and sunny in November I’m taking the Vert.. (2 mile trip)
Ended up driving through a state forest, past a bunch of farms, some ponds..
Actually had to use my GPS to get back home and was shocked it said “25 minutes”..
Oops..
If we didn’t have winter here I’d put 20k miles/ year on it..
I sort of don’t care about miles because I’m not planning on selling, but don’t want to go too crazy with it either..

Re: Drop Top in November.. in New England!
So the guy I bought the car from put on stock walker exhaust very stock.. the car sat for a while and needed new exhaust..
The cat went bad so I got a new cat and fixed the huge chrome tips that were sticking out past the bumper..
While I was at the Custom exhaust place I asked about the Magnaflow and they had one.. I got to A/B the Magnaflow with the Flowmaster and loved the Magnaflow..
Ended up doing a straight pipe in place of the cat with the Magnaflow and it sounds awesome.. I have the stock setup and they said they can put it back on cheap anytime.. but I’m enjoying this sound right now..
It has a nice stock-ish rumble, but get on it and it growls and crackles nice.. the Flowmaster is just loud and droney all the time.. I like the Flowmaster, but Magnaflow has it all to me..

Don’t get me wrong, I like the Flowmaster.. but it always has that drone.. especially without a cat..

I have heard the Hooker Aero Chamber is a choice also, classic sound with no drone.
Glad you guys up north are able to enjoy your rides this time of year. We here in So. Flo sometimes take it for granted. Had mine out the other day and took the long way down a straight road through the woods and let the flowmaster sing! Probably shouldn't have took the pic while driving but hey one of the few times around here I was the only one on the road.

Lot more fun with the tops out! I like the sound of my 3in Flowmaster cat-delete system too.

Re: Drop Top in November.. in New England!
Thanks Vanilla. I love it (even if its not a real TA) Got everything to where I want it except the engine I just hate to take one out that has gave me 0 problems. I like one with some pep to it though eventually I will build a mild 350 to go over in it I have already begun to buy parts such as bigger injectors, cam, etc.

We regularly have some 80* weather even into December. I'm actually ready for some freezing cold after months of 90*+

Re: Drop Top in November.. in New England!
Love the black and red combo! Nice one!
I’m glad I got the last ride in because it hit the teens last night and we have a feels like if 11 degrees this morning..
You southerners are lucky though I will say I’m not a fan of 90+ weather for more than a day or two..
Nice looking Red Bird there.. I like the Trans Am in that color better than IROCs.. the black rims look great with it..

Your Iroc is an a real American classic and i love it. My son is saving up and looking for one in blue/silver right now. He just recently finished college with his degree in nursing and working full time I'm very proud of him we are going to find him a clean Iroc.
