Im running plasti dipped C5 wheels, 275/35/18 front and 275/40/18 on the rear. Using 2 inch spacers up front and none in the back. I have a 4th gen rear. I love these wheels so much im considering getting them widened to run 315s.
Ordered these in 18x10.5 and they will be delivered soon. I think they will suit my car well. I am going with a 285-35-18 series tire. Car is lowered about 1 and 1/2 inches with cut Moog springs. Stock brakes on the car.
I am putting on a Founders adjustable panhard bar and some 3 piece poly LCAs so not sure if that affects anything with doing the 18x10.5 set up.
I still need to get spacers and from what I see from researching the board is that 2 inch spacers would be the way to go all the way around. Is that right? Also should I go hub centric or lug centric? Does it matter? Thanks for any help.
2" Adapters should be fine, front & rear. Hub-centric is always the better option, when you can use them. They put the load/stress on the axle itself instead of the lugs. You can get hub-centric adapters for the rear, but I haven't found any that would work for the front due to the way the spindle sticks out. I went with hub-centric on the rear & lug-centric on the front because of this. Bought mine from www.ezaccessory.com
Wow, those look damn good.
I wasn't sure if 18s would look Donk, but that FB looks amazing.
I'm gonna pull the trigger on 18x9.5s c7 z06s for my Turd gen.
I got z06 wheels on my 88 formula 2 inch on the rear and 2.25 up front and am having it rub on the inner lip and outer tie rod any one else have this problem and maybe know how to fix it
I had the same problem with the 17s so I'm going with 18x10.5 all the way around
I have the C6 polished aluminum. These are the ones that have the slight "milky" look. I actually like the better than the chrome version of these and I heard these were a $1400 option on the vette.
My buddy and I have been going through the car and doing some upgrades. Mainly suspension along with getting these wheels and tires on. 285 35 18s on 18x10.5 inch wheels all the way around.
Hey McLovin, nice ride! I really like your rims and would like to replace my 16s with some 17s. Where did you get the 17X9.5s?
Hey, 92Annie - Not sure where McLovin got his, but they sell those on www.oewheelsllc.com - I have bought two sets of replica wheels from them and have been pleased with both purchases. The C4 ZR1 Replicas on my Camaro and the 2014 GMC Sierra Replicas on my 2006 GMC both came from OE Wheels LLC. They get my vote!

Hey Devin, thank you very much! I have distinct 4 season weather here and have comp-2 a/s on my stock rims but in the hot dry months of summer i would like a dry set. Stepping up to 17" with 275/40's seems like the ticket. I cant decide between black, gunmetal or chrome...
2006 C6 corvette rims. 18'' in front. 19'' in back. 245/40/18 in front. 285/35/19 in back. 2" spacer in front. 2.5" in back. Inner wheel well took a few hammer strikes to make the rear tires fit

I like it!
Picked up the same wheel and tire combo you have for my 88 Camaro. I had to run 3 inch spacers on the rear though. I've got a Moser 9 inch that was built for a 4th gen. It's about 1/4 inch shorter on both ends. I probably could have got away with 2.5 spacer but I would have had to make some cuts instead of just "massaging" with the BFH.

Did you eventually get these rims? I'm looking at the same set from oewheels.com
I have a set of c6 with 19 rear and 18front. I had already massaged the rear wells for a previous set of zo3s. I’m running a 4 th gen rear and a 1/4 spacer. I have an LS front brake conversion and 2 inch spacers up front. Anyone have this wheel and brake combo and know if 2 inch will work or do I need 2 1/5
I haven’t tried to mount the fronts yet
Here’s mine with C5s painted black. I believe they’re 18” in the rear and 17” in the front. It’s been a while since I put these on but I think I have a 1/4” spacer in the rear, which is a 4th gen. I had to cut out quite a bit of the rear wheel well to get them to fit.
i ened up using a 5/16 spacer in the rear to clear the tires. i had over a half inch of thread left on the lugs. should i drop down to a 1/4 spacer or get longer studs?

Polished ZR1 reps from oewheelsllc.
17x9.5 w/ 275/40R17 fronts (and rear when I'm not running the drag radials).
17x11 w/ 315/35R17 rears on a '01 SS axle
19” rear with 295’s
18” front with 245’s
2.5” spacers all around
I know I am being a little partial here but I truly believe this C6 style Vette wheel look the best on our Camaros. I run the same set up except for 2" spacers in the front. Keeps the lip of the tire under the fender.
I went with c5 deep dish on my 91z 18x9.5 and 18x10.5
It is a very clean looking car. nice choice on wheel with the white.
What wheel spacers are you using? Tire size?
Did you have to modify the rear wheel tubs any?
