F/S 88 gta over $60,000 spent best offer
Completly customized 88 GTA. I have spent over $60,000 building this car and as with any project my interest has changed towards a new project. Here is your chance to own a street legal hot rod with all the mods you want without spending the fortune that I did. This car started out as a stock 88 GTA. It was completely disassembled and built. cage was fabricated from scratch and has swing out bars for easy in and out of car, The tunnel was cut and welded so that a Kevlar shield could be installed over transmission. (you cant tell without pulling carpet back). Frame connectors, Currie enterprises extreme duty rear and axles with 4.56 gears rated to 1200 hp. Due to the super low gears I installed a "Gear Vendor" overdrive on the car so that it is still drivable on the street without it taching out or overheating. TH700R polished trans with stall converter. all underneath powder coated. Baer polished drilled and slotted 12" rotors and calipers. Deep TPI trans pan. TPI intake on Balanced 383 stroker motor. 202/160 intake and exhaust valves with double springs. 150hp wet shot nitros system with bottle warmer and remote bottle opener. 58mm TPI throttle body, Double oil cooler, Power steering cooler. SPAL trans cooler, beefed up control arms and trans mount. Drive shaft loop. B&M megashifter for reverse valve body pattern. 5 point harness. Kevlar diaper on oil and trans pans.custom gauges fold down into the hood. Red white and blue nitros purge on hood below windshield. SLP headers with Flowmaster exhaust. Individual line locks for locking front wheels independently or at same time. Torque converter lock up. Methanol injector. Boost retard. Nitros Purge. all controlled from steering wheel 1000 watt custom stereo with led lighting, PS2, power inverter, built in battery tender, dual battery, external kill switch, interior video cameras capture front and rear, Auto meter gauges underdrive pulleys BBS rims There is really too much to list. I can e-mail additional pics. I will deliver 25 miles if payed in full. Thanks for looking. Jim 973-271-1384
The trans was slipping and my son took the trans out that had less than 1000 miles on it. All the clutches were replaced and now this thing is sitting in my garage with the trans out of it. Before I could at least back it out and move it around. Now I'm getting tired of climbing around it and want this pile of crap out of my garage. I wasted a TON Of money on this car and now it's sitting with no trans. So now I'm selling it for the best offer I can get. Come and see and hear it run and make me your best offer. If not I'm going to start parting it out to get back some money.
I have this listed on north jersey Craigslist with pictures. Jim 973-271-1384

Why not put the trans back in? What's that take, and afternoon and a couple beers? Its a lot easier to sell/move a running car.

Yeah I agree. I was more aggravated when I listed it. I'm sure Il end up putting it back in and exhaust also. I was hoping someone wanted it as it sat.
