DID Ramps...
I once came here looking for information on how to jack up my 1989 IROC-Z, humbling experience for sure as I've jacked many a car up before. Due to the length and width and ground clearance of certain areas of the car I've found it very difficult to get my jack under it. I thought what if I had some ramps.... HOLY $¥&! $70+ for ramps with a steep incline that might not even fit for my front end.
I ended up using a 2"×8" wooden plank that was 10ft long ($11.50 @ Lowe's). Cut at 2× @3' and 2× @2'. Wood glue and 6× 2 3/4" wood screws ($1.02 at hardware store, already had glue). I then found some scrap wood to use as a stopper. Beveled the edges of the ramp with a chop saw at 45°, glue and screw with even spacing. I thought I would share this cheap DIY. I hope this helps some one.

Won't work for all of us. My GTA is not only lowered, but being a '91-92 body style we have those lower air dams that are easily broken. They work great for the rear tires if I back on them though.
