88-91 beechwood interior carpet
Hello, looking to swap out my carpet on my TTA, reviewed the forum and have seen both cognac and medium doeskin as the correct color. If anyone has any pictures they could post with a comparison of either colors similarity it would be great...thanks in advance

It's definitely Cognac. ...most places will send you free samples. When I did mine I had samples of every "tan" in the book sent to me. It was definitely Cognac.
I've actually done carpet twice, and the first time I did doeskin. Felt like going lighter than my factory Beechwood. ...it looked good, but immediately knew I liked the darker better. Years later I sold the doeskin carpet and plastics, and went back to factory beechwood. I have pics, but I have pics of the doeskin in the shadows that looks much darker than the beechwood(Cognac) is the sun. Every time of day looks different. ...and every monitor has slight variances. I'm a printer/graphic artist so trust me when I say monitors will lie to you!
ACC Cognac was a 98% match to factory Beechwood. Most of the TTA guys will tell you that too. Still don't trust me, or them, or a picture. Get free samples.

There is a thread (deep within thirdgen.org) of an actual Beechwood color...
I bought some.... many years ago.... I recall it wasn't advertised...
Then ACC bought ASC (or ACS) who originally sold the beechwood....
I inquired within the last year, with the right # and they said they no longer have it...
I bought front carpet, not rear, and an 8 foot roll along with matching floor mats...
I wanted something richer and darker than doeskin / light tan.... It is a very rich color, almost peanut butter, Ferrari-esque tan... Matches the material I got for my seats and SEM palomino very well...

Some Pics of the beechwood I got...

I looked for that original post, it was the ACS in a TTA, which is where I got the info that I originally used to order mine... but I couldn't find it.... But the post noted the part # wasn't posted for sale... had to ask for it...

Going with Cognac, had already ordered the medium doeskin, thankfully swapped it out before it was shipped. Surely appreciate the feedback guys. Now next question, any of you reupholster your seats? Looking at the katzskin seats from hawks? Any feedback on those?

Re: 88-91 beechwood interior carpet
I contacted Bruce at Hawk's, told him I wanted a factory match to an 89 Iroc, cloth beechwood. He told me they didn't have an exact factory match with materials, but they were very close. He sent me the material samples, and then I ordered them. I am very happy with them for the money. Lethal interiors is a good bit more expensive, but from everything I've seen, her quality is amazing. Today, I'd go with Lethal. 12 years ago, I worked within my means. Still though, I am happy with the seat covers from Hawks.
Here's a pic from when they were first installed. BTW, this pic shows the ACC doeskin carpet, and doeskin plastics as well.
