Well seeing the price of some of these third gens nowadays makes you not feel as bad to spend some money to restore a third gen that is more desirably equipped than something like this. This car isn't worth anything close to $22.5k...when I see stuff like this I just wonder where they get the price from and if they even want to actually sell the car.

Undercoating.
The name kinda implies that it doesn't need to be sprayed EVERYWHERE.
Prices are crazy. I still see a lot of affordable cars around, but everybody with a low mileage car seems to think it's a high dollar collector car. Seems like plenty have been preserved to go around.

WITH EVERYONE ASKING CRAZY PRICES YOU WOULD BE DUMB NOT TO ASK HIGH LIKE THIS. IT DRIVES PRICES HIGHER THAN NORMAL AND THEN SOMEONE BUYS IT OR OFFERS SOMETHING NEAR ASKING. SOME JUST DON'T NEED TO SELL SO THEY ASK HIGH, AND SOME THINK THEIR CAR IS REALLY WORTH 30K. ALMOST EVERY NICE CAR IS 25K LATELY, MOST ARE WORTH 12K. DEALERS ARE ASKING EVEN HIGHER. SORRY CAPS LOCK ON.!!!!

In the past few years our cars have definitely increased in value. Im happy to see that of course. I just have to say I don't think anyone is going to be purchasing this car for more than $12k. If I'm spending big money on a low mileage third gen it's going to be a iroc or TA convertible, 5 speed TPI cars, 5.7 Iroc, z28, and GTA, 1LE, TTA or 85 iroc L69. These are the desirable cars worth spending $20k on in my opinion. Not a 305 TBI that was doused in undercoating.

rumpled carpet, faded speedo, odd things going on in engine compartment. Having troubles accepting this is an under 10K mile car

I'm still after two years unsure I didn't pay too much for my '88 5.7 TPI IROC, at $7,000.00.
However, it still looks great, and I've driven it over 30,000 miles with almost no issues so I guess I did alright..
No way I'd pay what that guy wants for his car, though..
