Strange S60
I just ordered a Strange S-60 rear end with 35-spline Strange street/strip axles, Strac differential, 3.150" wheel bearings, 1350 pinion yoke, 3.73 gear ratio, 1/2" wheel studs and 3-hole lower control arm brackets and a new chrome molly drive shaft for my old IROC Z. I feel I got a good deal on it for $3120.00 and it's strong enough to bolt in and forget about.

And it's in! Just waiting for a new torque bar bushing to come in Tuesday and it'll be back on the road.

Excellent. I think I've read over there before that a lot of guys buy from him, he has the best prices on these rears. Big investment, but the last one ever, very nice!

very nice!
IDK if it's just the pic, but your rear tires look like they're on backwards?

LOL, they are, my buddy installed them and I teased him about it. I'll swap them back around before I take her off jacks. I have a set of Mickey Thompson Street ET SS tires that's going to replace them soon; the tires in the pic will be used for the break in period next week and then get roasted off in a burn out pit at a car show in two weeks.

That's funny!
Should be a lot of fun roasting them off.
I have buddy who left his van here last week. i was driving it and noticed the steering wheel was way off center, and it pulled to one direction. I got looking at it, and he has 3 different size tires on it, lol.

Re: Strange S60
I just spent half the day doing the break in on the new rear end; drove it 250 miles at highway speeds with a 30 minute cool down every 50 miles. The new gears are very quiet and the 3:73 gears have certainly made the car feel more peppy.

Re: Strange S60
Well the break in on the rear end is complete, so I hammered down on her for the first time and it's pretty clear that street tires are still a no go, she smoked the tires for 120 feet. Hopefully a set of Mickey Thompson street slicks will do a little better for traction.
