Wow. Nice car. I like the gloss black accents over red. Fun to see a twin, but with added personal touches. Keep it. Care for it. Where else you gonna get such an in your face style as a red camaro with orange seats with camaro emblazened 40+ times? Either a like it or hate it situation. Glad you like it too.
And despite what some may say, those skinny little tires make them even more fun to drive and throw around. The street has speed limits, so I think unless you're going to a track, these tires add to the fun. I compare it to a Subaru BRZ factory setup.
6/11/2017 edit: Just noticed you still have the early Z shift ****. Sweeet.
Interesting on some of these photos how they did not use a rectangle washer at some "clipped" holes. I use term clip to refer to the special bolt-threaded clip used to attached nose to lower gfx. The last clipped hole on each side does not include rectangle because was too close to shaped part of fender. The corner clipped holes use large round washers because rectangles at those locations didn't fit well at the gfx curve.
Also interesting is gfx are cut at each corner from inner edge toward pre-drilled?? or pre-molded?? holes to allow bending the gfx around each corner.

Thanks! I look forward to seeing yours as you move along! And yes the 3.73 posi is a lot of fun with those tires.
This is awesome. It's going to look great when finished. One of these days I'm going to get around to having mine painted. First I have to replace the passenger door and the hood. Someone smashed into the door before I owned it and is dented in a way it can't be pulled or smoothed out. Not sure what happened to the hood but it is also dented in a way that can't be fixed.
Great post. Can't wait to see it when it's finished.
Also, have you ever considered leaving the gfx off? It's more rounded and makes it look kind of like a second or even first gen style. I don't know if I would ever do it but it's an idea.
I did not use heat gun on passenger side and it left a big mess of stuck on seal pieces. But the passenger side also had 3 times as much glue applied at the factory. Heat gun was also essential to get the seal channels off the body.
Will use Metro Moulded Parts. At this point I don't know if will be better or worse than any other brand.
